2am dryer

WAIT!!! I did this in total desperation, there's not many dryers that you can buy that day. I could go on,but what is most important is that the damage shown was only part of it. It scraped had to be taken apart, was hated by someone

I ordered a washer and dryer pair early…

I ordered a washer and dryer pair early last month. Never came. Asked for a refund. and i keep getting the run around. First is was 3-5 days. never came. Theni spoke with a supervisor that said i would get my refund tomorrow. when i called to double check i was told 5-7 days. So now its been a month and a half. No product or refund.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

this is the worst customer experience I have every had in any store. I had paid $130 for delivery for my appliance and they NEVER SHOWED UP. They gave me a 4 hour window, when it is supposed to be 2 hours, 12-4. At 4:30 I called the driver who said he is 15 minutes away and I was next. Then at 5:30 I called again, he said I was next. 4 HOURS LATER at 8:00PM I called and the driver said yeah we might be headed out your way tonight, idk though. I made it clear that it is unreasonable I have wasted 8 hours of my day waiting for a delivery and he said " look its not my problem you can either wait for me to come which I might, or suck it up and reschedule". Waited for a manager to call me for 3 days, never called. I called them they said that they do not refund delivery fees even when the item is not delivered. They could not give me a reason why but said they refused to refund deliveries, and that I can reschedule but no guarantees. On top of that, I had to leave their store early on 3 different occasions because I was being harassed by one of their employees saying sexual inappropriate things to me and about me in front of me. I was a huge advocate of this store for their quality items and great prices but their service and employees are the worst I have every experienced and will NEVER recommend or shop here again. 712 Thompson Ln in Nashville, do not go here.

Broken fridge, broken promises, broken trust

We purchased a refrigerator around November 2020. It took months for it to arrive. When it did, a single person (without a mask) was sent to make the delivery. The refrigerator fell completely on its side, was dragged up the driveway, and the delivery person said nothing. He also failed to bring it in the house, a service we had paid an ADDITIONAL $600 for. We let that go at the time knowing we'd just ask for a refund. As to the refrigerator, it was destroyed beyond service. We have the whole thing on video plus two neighbors saw it and asked if we'd been told. Nope. We worked with American Freight to handle this. The 'manager' they assigned to us was not interested and was unresponsive. Eventually after a few months we found a second refrigerator that wasn't the same but 'close' and accepted it. The manager asked us to put in a new order to buy it, we did. It was listed as 'New out of box.' In reality it was damaged. They had also not refunded us yet for the original refrigerator. They now had our money twice and we have zero refrigerators. From that point on American Freight went virtually silent. They did not respond to emails or phone calls. The only way I was able to get anyone's attention was to submit a complaint to the BBB and via the Attorney General of my state. That at least earned me a call back. In January, we finally received the refund for the first refrigerator. The new manager we were working with (thanks to the BBB) was apologetic, nice, and committed to resolving the problem but did mention a shortage of refrigerators due to COVID. We agreed to 45 days to find one, which was a lot, but I felt so put out that I was committed to American Freight making this right. In February I received a call that a refrigerator had been located and that it was in great shape. To the credit of the manager, this was a nice and very expensive unit. More than what we had paid. Unfortunately it lacked the two critical features we needed: Counter Depth (our kitchen is narrow) and black stainless steel. I turned this down. It is now March, Lowe's has the exact unit we wanted, can deliver in 16 days, at zero charge. We've just asked for a refund even though we were never given what was promised and American Freight held onto our money for months. We will never do business with them again. I guess the 1.4 star rating here is telling. Buyer beware.

I bought a couch set that was delivered…

I bought a couch set that was delivered to me a month ago broken, and yesterday the driver delivered the wrong color and said if he came back he wanted another $90.00. Mr. Nathan the manager promised me excellent service and satisfaction and did not honor his promise.

Delivery guy wouldn’t even try.

Since covid restrictions they are suppose to place the fridge inside your house and not take it to the exact location desired. Once the deli every team arrived the man told me oh he can’t fit it through the door we will leave it in your driveway. I said no the least you can do is try or put it in front of my door. After arguing with this man for 15 minutes his partner finally said he will put it in front of the house. I begged them to try to put it through the door, they refused, got angry and ignored me. He ignored me got his clipboard and started aggressively pushing it at me to sign. I was done I scribbled and they left. I had the neighbors help me bring it up the two steps into my door and it fit perfectly. They couldn’t even try to bring it in, which obviously would of worked.

Trash delivery guy!

Place is great. Our Sales person Andrew is great BUT the delivery service is trash! This guy “Terry” delivered my couch and stand by himself. Refused to take off his shoes and got an attitude with my wife. Proceeded to push the couch up the stairs by himself , puts a hole in my wall. Didnt want to give my wife a card or name and basically ran out of my home. Trash! Useless trash. I would rather spend 30 bucks and rent a uhaul to pick up my stuff next time.

I bought a marble top table from…

I bought a marble top table from American freight, got home and opened the box and it was cracked! Contacted the store and they were rude and gave me an email to send pictures to. Still no resolution days later! Would not forward me to a manager after spending $300 and can not reach anyone in corporate by phone either. Horrible overall experience!

Customer service is the worst!!

Customer service is the worst!!! I have NEVER had a company that was so unprofessional, no one knows what they are doing. When it comes to them updating your debit card information. I had to call in so many times because they kept trying to take payments from an old debit card and it looks like I'm not paying them on time. Never EVER again will I deal with this company for anything!

Buyer beware

On November 28, 2020 I purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher from the American Freight store in Amarillo and paid to have it shipped to my residence just outside of Houston. I was looking for a specific KitchenAid dishwasher model, and in a hurry to get it delivered and installed before Christmas. American Freight had the model advertised without scratch or dent at their Amarillo store, so I purchased it in haste without properly vetting American Freight or Sears Outlet. The dishwasher was delivered in a reasonable time; however, when my installer removed the cardboard that had been haphazardly taped around the dishwasher, he pointed out four major dents and multiple scratches on the door. The damage includes both sharp and creased dents, so either the dishwasher was not properly packaged for shipment or had an extremely rough ride. I immediately called the Amarillo store and spoke with an assistant manager, who assured me the unit left the store without scratch or dent and that this must have happened during shipping. He also assured me that I would be compensated for the damages. Since I needed the dishwasher, I agreed to install the unit and deal with the cosmetic damage later. My installer promptly installed the unit and was testing it when he discovered water leaking from the pumping module assembly. I immediately called the assistant manager back at the Amarillo store, and he said he would have a Kenmore repair person contact me and schedule an appointment. He also said, if I had not heard from Kenmore repair by 2pm Monday of the following week, to call him back. I never received a call from Kenmore repair and called the assistant manager back late Monday for his assistance only to be informed that he was off Mondays and Tuesdays. The fact that he was scheduled to be off must have slipped his mind, so I called back on Wednesday and was informed this individual had taken the day off, but they did take my information so he could call me back. Never called. When it was obvious that the store was not going to help, I called the customer service number on the purchase order. I explained my situation to customer service, and they informed me that I would have to deal with the Amarillo store directly. If customer service is not going to provide customer service, why is their contact information on the purchase order? Subsequently, I called the store and customer service multiple times never to find anyone that could help me. During my final call with the store, the person I was speaking to told me that American Freight had filed a complaint with the shipping company and that their manager would call me within 24 hours. I asked for the manager’s name, but this person could not recall. Never called. I am deeply concerned for the staff at the American Freight Amarillo store, not only do they forget to return calls, but they also cannot remember their days off or recall their managers names. What are the odds they will remember they sold me a dishwasher that was delivered damaged and does not work? A reputable company would take responsibility for their sub-contractors and if something is damaged during shipping, American Freight should have attempted to reconcile the damages with their customer regardless of whether they file a complaint with their shipping sub-contractor. Scratches and dents aside, the dishwasher leaks and therefore is not usable. American Freight should have had someone out to assess this problem and either repair it, replace it, or refund my money. It has been almost three weeks since I initially reported this issue to American Freight, and they have yet to communicate their intentions regarding this matter. As a Quality Auditor, I am tasked with assessing organizations to determine their ability to deliver what they promise. No organization is perfect, so how customer complaints are addressed is a major factor in my assessment. Incompetency and poor communication are often the root cause of customer dissatisfaction; however, the continual runaround and level of deception in this matter would lead me to conclude they are not just incompetent but unethical as well.

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not purchase the extended warranty. My couch broke within 2 weeks of purchasing. Love seat I fixed on my own 2 times. N9 care or respect when I went to inquire about honoring the warranty

Horrible customer service

Let me tell you one thing I work in customer service and I will always be nice at first, I have been waiting for 3 months now for call backs and have gotten nothing. all I'm asking for is a call back, that is not hard or to much to ask for. I took a love seat off the floor and it was ripped, was promised another would be ordered and it would not take months.. Here I am 3 month later ands 3 calls to the store and nothing. yes this last time I was rude which I don't like to be but enough is enough, its been a tough year already. all I'm asking for is a call back and some compensation for the damaged couch. Also i was told there is no phone number that can be given to me to call, I have to wait for a call back...yet again
