Accommodation was excellent .Staff very efficient and helpful Food -Breakfast good selection of food Evening meal could be better Day trips-lovely day in Swanage and Poole no time to spend in Poole would rather slend a full day in Swanage Coach to Tamworth had to changd coach 3 times not sure if this a regular accuracebut its annoying Coming home straight to Tamworth but had to wait for a coach to pull in with 4 passengers on board Felt sorty fof the driver as he was getging grief from passengers waiting to get home But there had been a accident on the motoway so the delay couldn't be helped . Surely there must be a better way for logistics instead of changing at Tamworth and waiting and waiting and waiting

From pickup to drop off home

From pickup to drop off home, everything was taken care of, all I had to do was turn up. The Hotel was lovely, food was good with plenty of choice and all meals were waiter service too. I had a single room which was quite spacious and there was no single supplement😊. The only negative was the shower didn't have a thermostat and was difficult to keep to one temperature but it wouldn't stop me from booking again. This was my first time with Alfa and won't be the last, the service by all staff at the hotel and the drivers was first class.

A lovely break!

This was our first holiday with Alfa and we really enjoyed it. We liked the hotel and the journey there was easy and without any problem. The hotel was nice and was clean. We thought our bed was a bit rickety and could do with some attention. There were two members of staff that really stood out, one in the dining room and Steve behind the bar was customer focussed and nothing was too much trouble for him. Rochelle in the dining room looked after us really well and both these people are a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately things started to unravel on the journey home where we had a prolonged wait at Tamworth because one of the connecting coaches had been delayed. However, our onward driver who was put under unnecessary pressure by a minority of customers, did everything right and although we didn’t get home until quite late we thoroughly enjoyed our time away. So much so that we have booked another holiday with you later in the year.

The Eliot Hotel Newquay is a excellent…

The Eliot Hotel Newquay is a excellent 👌 hotel that I have used many times ,and at last been able to get back again with alfa holidays, found it very hard to get a single room ,but managed it this time,and the room was excellent, and hopefully will get back soon 10 out 10 .

A lovely room (amazing bathroom)

A lovely room (amazing bathroom), friendly staff who made the effort to dress up for Halloween. Good choice of food nicely presented. Only downside was the long delay at Tamworth on the return journey, and the atmosphere on the coach due to how our driver, Peter, spoke to a lady passenger on using the on-board toilet. Will definitely be travelling with Alpha again next year

Highly recommended

First of all the most important thing is to provide a means by which older people can get together and have an enjoyable and memorable experience. This Alpha tour and also previous ones have definitely come up with the goods in all these repects. Good transport arrangements, good hotels with good meals and entertainment, good trips out. We'll done.

A marvellous knowledgeable driver

A marvellous knowledgeable driver, Russell, and a comfortable coach. The hotel rooms were airy with sea views. The staff especially Martin were very friendly and efficient. We shall be rebooking next year.
