Accommodation was excellent .Staff very efficient and helpful Food -Breakfast good selection of food Evening meal could be better Day trips-lovely day in Swanage and Poole no time to spend in Poole would rather slend a full day in Swanage Coach to Tamworth had to changd coach 3 times not sure if this a regular accuracebut its annoying Coming home straight to Tamworth but had to wait for a coach to pull in with 4 passengers on board Felt sorty fof the driver as he was getging grief from passengers waiting to get home But there had been a accident on the motoway so the delay couldn't be helped . Surely there must be a better way for logistics instead of changing at Tamworth and waiting and waiting and waiting

From pickup to drop off home

From pickup to drop off home, everything was taken care of, all I had to do was turn up. The Hotel was lovely, food was good with plenty of choice and all meals were waiter service too. I had a single room which was quite spacious and there was no single supplement😊. The only negative was the shower didn't have a thermostat and was difficult to keep to one temperature but it wouldn't stop me from booking again. This was my first time with Alfa and won't be the last, the service by all staff at the hotel and the drivers was first class.

A lovely break!

This was our first holiday with Alfa and we really enjoyed it. We liked the hotel and the journey there was easy and without any problem. The hotel was nice and was clean. We thought our bed was a bit rickety and could do with some attention. There were two members of staff that really stood out, one in the dining room and Steve behind the bar was customer focussed and nothing was too much trouble for him. Rochelle in the dining room looked after us really well and both these people are a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately things started to unravel on the journey home where we had a prolonged wait at Tamworth because one of the connecting coaches had been delayed. However, our onward driver who was put under unnecessary pressure by a minority of customers, did everything right and although we didn’t get home until quite late we thoroughly enjoyed our time away. So much so that we have booked another holiday with you later in the year.

Very good driver

Very good driver. Good trips. Lovely bedroom ar the hotel.Because we were 2nd sitting for dinner sometimes things were not replaced very quickly but on the whole food was ok.

Shanklin hotel isle of wight

The driver Andy was brill helpful very informative and professional all week. The hotel was the best Alfa hotel we’ve stayed in .the shanklin Isle of Wight . Manager and staff first class .bedroom was clean and modern . Food good . Couldn’t find any faults. Would highly recomend

It was my first time travelling alone…

It was my first time travelling alone .Went to Newquay stayed at Eliot Hotel. Staff, food, cleanliness and entertainment 10 out of 10 everyone was helpful, nothing to much trouble for them. The driver was a fantastic on our trips out ,so many sights to see. the only fault being ,no lift working all week, although it didn't bother me it was so upsetting to watch old disabled people many with sticks and walkers struggling up and down the many staircases. Also I thought the 3 hour journey from Poulton-le-Fylde to the interchange with so many pick up points was a bit much. Other than that I had a great holiday with sun every day for a bonus. Thankyou

Everything was absolutely lovely and…

Everything was absolutely lovely and our driver Minty was just great and good fun, the only complaint we all had was we didn't get enough time in some places, namely Galway because we went to Connemara Crystal which no-one was bothered about and at Kylemore Abbey we just didn't have enough time to see it all. It was generally thought that fewer places with more time would be better and bearing in mind the majority of people on these tours are elderly and therefore slower and needing a bit more time to look around.

Lovely coach driver

Lovely hotel!

We have only rated 4 stars because of a couple of things. No. 1. There were 6 steps within the hotel and no stair-lift for the less able to reach the corridor where the lifts are. As my husband has a problem with steps (and we noticed a few other people having problems too), we wondered if something could be done in the future. No. 2. During breakfast we noticed that there were no breakfast pastries for those of us that didn’t want a cooked breakfast. Apart from these two things, we enjoyed ourselves there. The staff are a credit to the company. The ones with whom we had contact with were extremely pleasant and helpful and always had a smile on their faces.

A Great Holiday in Llandudno.

The position and appearance of the hotel is very good the outside including the garden are kept tidy. The reception area and staff are outstanding. The waiters were all cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. I bet the manager runs a tight ship and keeps them all on there toes. Lovely food and super breakfasts. The room number 127 was quite clean and the bed was comfy. The trips out were all well organised. I had visited the towns we went to before but hadn't been on any of the rail journeys, so that made a point of interest for the day. Derek the coach driver was excellent he was cheerful but not too much 'in your face', he was very good with all the travellers who had walkers helping them on and off the coach etc. I never heard him swear or blaspheme once always a good thing. He too earned his share of this years Alfa profits. To be honest I was not expecting a lot from this holiday. About 25 years ago I stayed with Alfa at Dunoon and when the holiday was over Mrs. Moore and I vowed we would never go with Alfa again, so this was my first holiday with you since then. I have been very pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. I chose Alfa because we got free time in the resort not a trip every day as a lot of tour operators do. As things stand at the moment I will certainly be travelling with Alfa again God willing.

Excellent trip to the lakes

Excellent trip to the lakes, hotel fine food and staff were excellent can not fault them,but only thing wrong the room we had the wash basin was inside bedroom and bathroom was very small but it was not a real problem

Enjoyable time

Coaches comfortable, feeder coach pick up on time. Hotel clean and very friendly helpful staff. Food good choices and cooked well. The whole experience was good, although did not realise how tiring coach travel can be.
