Accommodation was excellent .Staff very efficient and helpful Food -Breakfast good selection of food Evening meal could be better Day trips-lovely day in Swanage and Poole no time to spend in Poole would rather slend a full day in Swanage Coach to Tamworth had to changd coach 3 times not sure if this a regular accuracebut its annoying Coming home straight to Tamworth but had to wait for a coach to pull in with 4 passengers on board Felt sorty fof the driver as he was getging grief from passengers waiting to get home But there had been a accident on the motoway so the delay couldn't be helped . Surely there must be a better way for logistics instead of changing at Tamworth and waiting and waiting and waiting

From pickup to drop off home

From pickup to drop off home, everything was taken care of, all I had to do was turn up. The Hotel was lovely, food was good with plenty of choice and all meals were waiter service too. I had a single room which was quite spacious and there was no single supplement😊. The only negative was the shower didn't have a thermostat and was difficult to keep to one temperature but it wouldn't stop me from booking again. This was my first time with Alfa and won't be the last, the service by all staff at the hotel and the drivers was first class.

A lovely break!

This was our first holiday with Alfa and we really enjoyed it. We liked the hotel and the journey there was easy and without any problem. The hotel was nice and was clean. We thought our bed was a bit rickety and could do with some attention. There were two members of staff that really stood out, one in the dining room and Steve behind the bar was customer focussed and nothing was too much trouble for him. Rochelle in the dining room looked after us really well and both these people are a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately things started to unravel on the journey home where we had a prolonged wait at Tamworth because one of the connecting coaches had been delayed. However, our onward driver who was put under unnecessary pressure by a minority of customers, did everything right and although we didn’t get home until quite late we thoroughly enjoyed our time away. So much so that we have booked another holiday with you later in the year.

Just come back from King Charles hotel…

Just come back from King Charles hotel in Gillingham .Would not recommend. On entering car park it looks like a bomb site. Toilet was badly stained in bottom. Blood on bathroom floor. Skirting board needed a scrub. Meals not up to standard. We had to order Three days in advance and they still got it wrong. Would not stay here again. Don't get me wrong, not a problem with Alpha or our driver Keith. Just the hotel.

Royal Hotel Weymouth

Royal Hotel Weymouth. An uneventful journey down. I agree with a previous review that Burtonwood is too small for the number of people using it. We had to stand until our coach was called as there were no seats available. Our driver, Tom, was very good and I felt safe sitting eight behind him. The hotel, Grade 2 listed, was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room, 108, was beautiful with a balcony and magnificent views. The food was varied with a reasonable choice, cooked well and hot when it was supposed to be hot. We did not go on the excursions as we love the resort and wanted to spend time there, nor did we use the provided evening entertainment. It was our sort of holiday, as we wanted it, in a place we like and a hotel we like. Denise and her team lived up to our hopes and we thank all concerned.

1st holiday with Alfa

1st holiday with Alfa although been to the Metropole hotel 5 times. Feeder coaches have always put us off. However it all ran smoothly with only a short wait each way. Love the Metropole hotel helpful friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with good food, although we thought the portions were shrinking from previous visits but we never went hungry!

Contented Travellers

Just returned from a five day break to Porthcawl, somewhere new for us. This was our first Alfa holiday and we will be booking more. Our Driver, Darren was excellent. Friendly, helpful and made us feel safe while driving. Coach was immaculate and comfortable and staff at the hotel were lovely. Thank you.

Wonderful Experience.Great tour.

Fantastic time at the Waverley Hotel Melrose.Big shout out to Daniel& James for putting together an amazing team and for the forward planning to bring this hotel back to high standards. Yes hotel is tired in area's but all other aspects of our stay was fabulous. Morgan was a total star in the dinning room and is definitely a manger in the making.Entertainment was good when we stayed. The setting is perfect,Melrose is so close,beautiful to walk around and so welcoming and friendly. Many thanks to driver Paul Hook,excellent journey's and more than helpful.Credit to the team. I can't wait to go back next April(2026).
