Review summary
Ad Hoc Property Management Ltd is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate professional and service, though some mention concerns about communication and expensive.
Came back from work and resting in my new wonderful home.
I can’t rate Daryl enough for the experience he’s given me, he’s made it so easy to move here. Moving from Norwich was difficult finding somewhere, and it was a really smooth seamless process. Being from Heaton from where I came from and being able to locate me next to my mum.
Thank you ever so kindly, Olivia :)
I've been in touch with Ad Hoc for a while now, both Claire and Aaron have been great throughout.
Claire was super helpful in answering all my questions (and there were a lot!) and kept me updated even when things weren’t 100% confirmed yet. She was honest about what they could and couldn’t provide, which I really appreciated.
Aaron reached out to me about a new place and was quick to follow up with details. It was nice to deal with someone straightforward and responsive.
There were a couple of delays earlier on, but Claire took the time to explain what happened and made sure things were handled better moving forward. That really showed me they cared about doing right by people.
Overall, both Claire and Aaron were professional, down-to-earth, and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend them if you’re thinking about trying property guardianship with Ad Hoc.
Fantastic experience!
I have dealt with Hulya from London branch and she has done all the process for me from the viewing all the way to the complete stage of check in.
She was amazing in terms of efficiency and customer service, very hard to find like that this days unfortunately. Very professional business lady who knows all the tricks in her business.
Absolutely fantastic!
Super swift moving in process. Hasnat was extremely thorough with everything - he made sure to answer all my questions and make sure I’m happy and comfortable moving in. Lights in the building were also fixed immediately once he was informed which is very reassuring. Throughly recommend him :)
I was looking at at Trust Pilot reviews for Adhoc since late last year and the stars were 1 star and Adhoc hadn't been claimed/verified this page yet. It was lower than Global Guardians and VPS. I was disappointed because Adhoc advertises on spare room and they had a place I was very interested in but the reviews were so bad, I didn't message them instead I kept coming onto this site, hoping other people had a more positive experience with them. I had to stop looking for a place in London because of family issues in December, when things settled I go back in late March to see so many positive 5* reviews. I am glad but upon reading them, it's very obvious that it's not just Guardians talking, it's staff as well. The language used is clearly professionals; you move into a Guardianship and speak nothing of the room, heating, building, other tenants etc but write a whole paragraph of how great the staff is? You mention time and time again how supportive the staff were when really they are not going to be calling you, you contact them if there is a problem, the payment is direct debit, they do unexpected visits - that's all. It's very very difficult to get people who have had a positive experience with a company/ service to give a positive review even if you email the link or offer a positive incentive like raffle, people will often complain or warn of a bad experience than a good one, so it can be argued that Adhoc really stressed to Guardians who had recently moved in and had no prior issue with them the importance of a review, which made the Guardian think yes, let me spend my free time writing a review. Unfortunately, for Adhoc it doesn't explain the numbers how can a 1 star company in October 2020 right through to December jump to over 4 stars in late March? That's very quick. Oh and I noticed something else, AdHoc claimed this page as their business in Jan 2021. When they were 1 star in December they were not verified. Do not trust this company.
Extremely helpful staff
Wonderful home with wonderful flatmates and the Hasnat was really helpful in working around my time line for the move in date, he was constantly available in answering my questions about the contract or the house it self and the process all together.
I went to see a property (Mencap building) in High Wycombe. Two other men were waiting for the agent to arrive. Eastern European men, broken English, not very clean. The agent was late but luckily could get to see inside the house straight away. No locks on doors, anyone at anytime can get into your room. Not appropriate for single women. Not clean in overall, reminded me of a secluded institute with dark corridors. Not pleasant, I would not live there for free.
Victoria has been amazing since I first moved to an Adhoc guardian properly and has helped with anything I needed since. She is very friendly and always responds promptly with any communication.
Thank you so much..
Stephen
Victoria at AdHoc has always been friendly and has done her best to help us out when we’ve had problems at the house. Guardianship has been a really cheap way to rent a super cool house, the only problem is that it came with a 1 month rolling contract, which would have been great if I’d wanted to leave voluntarily, but the house got sold so now I’m scrapping about trying to find somewhere else to live.
Been with adhoc over a year and don’t have a problem. Find my area rep Victoria a pleasure to deal with ,if you have a issue she does her best to sort it out , you can’t complain for the amount of money you pay . Good company good service

I've been with adhock for about 7 months and have to say I had my doubts but was pleasantly supprised, there where a few issues when I arrived but I have to say they where addressed quickly, and I had a couple of financial issues which took a bit of time to sort out but I will say Victoria in accounts was very clear understanding and very professional, and would like to thank the team
