The call initially came out of the Blue late evening as I was looking at and comparing the quote with my existing cover. Tried to sign up online for the service. Kept failing during the sign up process, as would not recognise my bank details. So I could not proceed any further. However I received an email later for a service from them that I did not agree to. I was called the next day for a customer service check, when I raise this issue I was transferred to retention agent. When I explained the situation, they initially seemed helpful but they kept saying that it was not a problem that I had signed up to the wrong service because I was in the 14 day cool off. This was incorrect as I had not signed up to or agreed to the contract and was false. It was an invalid contract as I had never done a final agreement page to check with everything and tick an agreement statement. They are in breach of FCA regulations for contracts and did not seem to accept my information. When I asked for discount for the hassle he stated that he would only pass on my concerns. Basically confirming his prior statement that he believed I had signed up to their contract! AVOID THIS COMPANY, THEY SEND CONTRACTS WITHOUT YOU AGREEING TO THEM.
From the commencement of booking an annual service through to the engineers visit (Thomas Robinson) everything was straightforward. On the day of the visit a 3 hour time window was made and prior to the visit was advised by Tom that he would be with us in the next 20 minutes. Arriving as promised Tom was his usual polite and professional self, explaining what he would be covering in the visit and was happy to be getting on with the work. A quick tour of the house and garage to check where all parts of the system were and even removed his shoes before going onto the carpeted area upstairs. Leaving Tom to get on with the job in hand he soon had completed a thorough check of the entire system and the outside meter area. That done, he explained all work that he completed and without asking signed the boiler service record book. Great to have someone come with a pleasant manner, work efficiently yet take the time to ensure we were satisfied with the service provided by him and the company. 247 Home Rescue and their engineers (assuming they are all the same standard as Tom) come highly recommended.

I thought the engineer, Barry, was very pleasant and polite when he came to service my boiler. He telephoned to let me know when he would be arriving.
