Wine Spies does an excellent job of sourcing limited production high quality wines that they make available at substantial savings. I especially enjoy the NDA offerings. Their Vault option is brilliant and the Vault surprise pick is always an exciting gamble. The information provided on the individual wine is also thoroughly well done. They ship safely and promptly. Learned about them from the WineForNormalPeople podcast. Working on my second shipment with giddy excitement!

My experience has been overall positive. Once I had an issue with a bottle of wine I had purchased and let them know in a survey they did. They responded immediately but didn't tell me that they had issued a credit for the bottle already. The next time I ordered I had a $65 credit to use, which had been the price of the wine, hence my assumption. I was surprised and happy how this issue was handled. Some of the wines were a bit disappointing while other were above expectations, which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. I hate spending money on shipping (rather spend it on wine), so I do like the concept of the vault/locker.

The wines are always well described with solid pro review references, and their emails are entertaining as well. I particularly like that they’ll hold bottles for you until you accumulate a case and qualify for free shipping. Just a wonderful way to buy great wine at a great price.

Can't say enough good things about Wine Spies, superb wines, with full descriptions and professional reviews, at an unbeatable price. Customer Service has always been excellent. The website is easy to use, wine has always come packaged well with no accidents or even any mistakes on orders. The locker feature is the absolute best in that there is no pressure to buy a certain amount of wine to get free shipping, build a case, once you have 12 it ships, for free. First thing I do on my phone every morning is check out the wine spies deal of the day

Wine Spies is a great source to try varietals that we love, from producers who we don’t know, at great prices. Pass a deal, or purchase a deal, its super easy. Love the lockers so we can buy just a bottle at a time and when the case is full, they ship temp controlled to AZ so no more waiting until the Fall to receive wine shipments!

Excellent service and great QPRs...usually about the lowest price in the country. Have purchased dozens of WS products and am impressed with the quality of their curated wines. Highly recommend.

Good information about each wine, fair prices (though not always the best prices), easy to order, and excellent "Locker" benefit. Too many fruit forward California reds are featured for my tastes. I prefer leaner, lower alcohol wines. Among white wines, I like Riesling which I rarely see featured.

I love their detailed wine descriptions, the fact that they provide details on the winery and the winemaker's own description of their product. The have great bargains, and the locker features is so convenient. No need to spend hundreds of dollars on shipping alone, or to have to gulp the wines stocked in my small wine fridge to make room for new ones and still know that I have a couple dozen stocked at my Wine Spies Lockers!

Service has always been excellent. One thing that stood out is when I ordered 6 bottles of a $40 wine in February 2019. After trying 4 bottles that were wonderful, I tasted the fifth in August 2022 and discovered it was corked - musty and undrinkable. I contacted The Wine Spies and they promptly gave me credit for the bottle. This shows they stand behind their products.

I've ordered perhaps 6 cases of wines, 1 to 2 bottles at a time from WineSpies over the past 15 months. I love their Locker feature, where you can build up to a locker, and then get it shipped for free when it is full. It gives me a chance to try a wide assortment of wines at reasonable values, and their curated selection of wines means that the largest problem I have is that I could easily blow my entire wine budget just on their site. The wines have always arrived promptly (considering they are shipping the case to the east coast) and in good shape once I click on the Ship this Locker button.

I had three lockers already shipped by Wine Spies. Just had one small problem the last time when the shipment was taking longer to be shipped. I contacted them and the issue was fixed on the same day. The customer service is top notch and all the deliveries were fast and painless. I wouldn't recommend the VAULT feature. Tried twice and the wines were disappointing -the last one was a sparkling from Oregon that seems good, but I don't drink sparkling wines, so it's 20 bucks in the trash for me. Another thing that bothers me is that sometimes the "full price" isn't real and we can find similar offers around the web. I recommend that you run a little online research before buying bottles. Having said that it's a great place to find reasonable cabernet offers and from some gem wineries outside the obvious routes in Napa or Sonoma. I found two of my favorite wineries through entry wines offered on Wine Spies, and I became a huge fan of the Red Hills Lake County AVA after tasting three wines from that place just north of Napa (which saved me some money). I highly recommend the service, the locker feature is great and what makes me come back to them.

I have been using wines spies for the past year and LOVE them. I'm about 6-7 cases in and sometimes will purchase 2-3 bottles (if I'm not familiar with the wine) or in some cases have purchased 8-12 bottles if I think it's definitely a home run. Some wines I have enjoyed more than others (kind of an obvious statement) but have not been disappointed in any wines I have purchased. More frequently I am very surprised at the overall value they bring with some high quality juice at very reasonable prices. Holding wine in their "vault" until shipping a full case is also incredibly attractive. Their write-ups are great and I've learned a lot about many winemakers and regions. Would prefer they don't recruit too many more "operatives" to keep some of the daily deals from disappearing too quickly!

I have been using this service for access to premium wines that normally get a huge markup at your average local wine store. Wine Spies' locker feature seems pretty unique across the industry, allowing you to accumulate wines in drips and drabs until a case is finished. Good for the environment.

What a great way to explore the world of wine. The “Spies” deliver amazing global coverage with prices to make retailers cry. Chilled delivery, ‘lockers’ so you can build up to a case AND shipping is included. When I had a problem (someone at UPS enjoyed my case for XMas) they were on the issue and it was resolved quickly and correctly. Great Cust. Svc all around.

I had great difficulty getting my wine from Wine 2 You. I live in Tucson, AZ -- so this is the only way I must get my wine -- apparently. However, they operate from Mesa, AZ (2 1/2 hours away) and only deliver to Tucson on Tuesday and Thursday from 10-2. They will not/cannot deilver to a FedEx or UPS site since they are not affiliated with them. This does not work for me and I have no neighbors to accept this for me. I formerly used FedEx and its on-site service because I am not at home during business hours. Despite the fact I was not at home, Wine 2 You graciously agreed to drop this off at my house. Otherwise I was going to send it back to you and ask for a refund! Given this problem, I'm not sure how I will or can be able to use Wine Spies in the future.

As a business, top marks. Excellent customer service, totally reliable performance, easy to use. As wine buyers, there’s a definite style that they lean into - just like any good wine shop. You’re going to see a lot of big California reds and the EU picks are on the more fruit-forward side as well. If that is your jam (pardon the pun) then you’ll probably find plenty to like despite the low marketing profiles of many of thier producers. If your preference runs more towards the classic pre-Parker Euro style then you’ll probably want to stick to producers you know - you’ll see a Jaboulet, CVNE or similar pop up every couple of weeks but definitely lower frequency on those.

I love Wine Spies for the access to high quality wines that have been vetted by their trustworthy agents at a great price. Whether it's a particular vintage that is harder to find, a region, a varietal, or winemaker - Wine Spies allow to explore, learn and develop my palate. Their locker system is awesome as you can store until you get a full case and they will ship at no charge.
