Have been with Whitegates for 13 years through their property letting service. Full tenancy of the rental property has been achieved by them throughout this period with no issues. Special thanks to Paris Atkinson who has managed our account for several years - nothing is too much for her.

Booked a viewing 3 days ago and turned up at the house on time. Waited 30 mins and noone showed up . We knocked on the door only to be told the house is already sold and these clowns didn't have the decency to call us to tell us. Joke of an estate agent. Would rather be homeless that deal with these jokers again. Dont waste your time.

I used Whitegates Wrexham to sell my home. Chris & the team are very professional, they gave me constant updates & were so very helpful. The fact they advertised the house on Facebook beforehand was a fab idea & I sold within a week. A local estate agents with a highly personal & professional touch that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We enlisted Whitegates Walton Vale offices help to put my mums property on the market. We were very happy with the way in which they marketed it and their promptness in doing so and we had lots of viewings booked in straight away and the house sold within 24 hours. All the staff we dealt with (Debbie, Joanne & Leanne) were really helpful not to mention professional every step of the way & I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them or using them in the future.

Following the failure to deliver by the local “independent” agent, I enlisted the services of Whitegates Huyton branch. Gail was superb and handled the politics of a sale resulting from a matrimonial breakdown with all the diplomacy of a United Nations ambassador! They delivered and ensured the sale process was swift and stress free. I’ll be using them for my future purchases/sales.

Im writing this review to express the gratification I have for Debbie , Joanne and there team at both Whitegates Walton Vale and Whitegates Sefton . When I went to buy my property, I explained that I work away with my job , and really would struggle to be around for contractors/ surveyors . Joanne explained that this wasn’t a problem and that Whitegates would take care of any viewings / inspections etc . This was a massive help to myself .Forwarding 3 months later , they took care of everything until completion. As I Wright this review , I’ve got a text from the lettings team to say they had a vetted tennant waiting to move in around the 1st / 2nd week in January . I couldn’t recommend these guys enough !! Selling my property with Whitegates (Walton Vale branch) and the team have been so supportive and efficient... I can’t recommend their services enough!

Unprofessional. Rude and incompetent. Didnt even bother to notify of a cancelled booking for viewing. Kept waiting for 40 minutes, then on phone for 20 minutes only to be told that the property was no longer available. Dont take down old advert from website and are just careless.

Having rented through numerous Estate Agents I can honestly say Whitegates are the worst. The turnover of staff is ridiculous & the internal communication just as bad. It's no wonder the company finances are in such a state. Avoid like the plague.

Had a note posted through my door saying I need to sign for delivery. I have paid 2 pound to the post office, letter came today and it is a letter for your estate agency, thats all... a letter, which we have had to pay for. What a scam! A disgrace!

Poor experience. Nightmare viewing houses have to have endless proof, then days go by without hearing a response. Keep having to chase things up by calling them.

Stay away. Nottingham Whitegates Agency (Beeston especially) is a theft. They stole our half deposit. Do not trust your agreement because they do what they know and do not care tenants.

The worst experience ever- they went over and above to be rude, unhelpful and the communication was the worst I’ve ever experienced, there were so many mistakes which they never apologised for and so many questions we asked left unanswered. We were treated like we were at fault when we only wanted them to do the job we were paying them for. Do not touch them as Letting agents

I am a landlord who used a Whitegates agency run by Gail Loller from the West Derby Branch. Whitegates found a tenant for me and should have lodged the tenant’s deposit with the DPS. When the tenant moved out some time later she found that the DPS had no record of the deposit. The tenant actually worked for the Whitegates Prenton branch during the tenancy and said that it was common practice to steal the deposit. Further checks by myself have verified that the deposit was never lodged. All email communication from myself to Whitegates has been ignored and phone calls have not been returned.

Worst experience ever. We are not from the UK so we texted them in email. Ignored us for 2 months. After two months they said we are sorry and thanks for waiting. Then wrote us back for 10 minutes and disappeared again. Luckily, we have not sent them a deposit because we saw that the property was let agreed and they kept telling us that it is still available.

They are absolute con artists, they claim an email is sufficient evidence to retain bond money for work carried out but oddly cannot provide a receipt or invoice. Anyone looking for an agent should look elsewhere unless you want to be ripped off. There are far more reputable ones out there!

I highly recommend the Huyton branch of Whitegates estate agents. The entire staff are brilliant and so helpful and continued to keep us posted and keep things moving throughout covid. Liam worked tirelessly to sell our property, constantly chasing up solicitors and buyers. So glad we went there and would not hesitate to use them again. Very professional. Thank you to all the team.

Whitegates Huddersfield. Awful service for rental properties. Promise a lot until you sign the agreement and deliver nothing. Rent out sub standard properties and do nothing to put things right. Avoid
