Was looking for a Ducati Scrambler 800…

Was looking for a Ducati Scrambler 800 as my next bike. A part exchange was at the forefront of the deal. Wheels had what seemed the ideal bike with the right model, mods, mileage and price. My contact was Joe Scott who provided me with all the answers to the questions asked. A subsequent walk round video clinched it for me and we continued our discussions to a part exchange deal. Despite this being an online purchase (I'm three hours away) I'm delighted with the overall experience: the communication, ease of the process to purchase, and Joes' involvement. (and even when he wasn't available he still made sure that I was kept informed). Oh, I love the bike and would happily work with Wheels again should the opportunity arise.

Purchased a honda Goldwing

Purchased a honda Goldwing, unfortunately had issues that wasn't apparent until it was rode home, reported the issues was promptly collected and checked over and delivered, unfortunately the problem happened again and another problem also showed up Promptly collected again offered to fix it and give me a 1 Years honda warranty as an apology but opted to return for a refund that they did without argument/hesitation Very friendly and accommodating customer service

Wheels, Peterborough Customer service and support

From the moment, I walked into Wheels, Peterborough, which I searched online for Triumph Tiger 1200 SE Alpine which I decided on which motorbike to enquire about. I was directed by a member of staff to Joe Scott, he instantly was attentive and asked me to show him what motorbike, I was thinking of getting explaining to him that leg reach was tip toes, he mentioned a lowering kit that was available in which came in two kits 20 and 40 mm. I part exchange my motorbike, sign a few online forms which were straightforward even change the collection date a week earlier which Joe was very happy to do, on the collection day he showed and explained the controls and back history of the motorbike. A very smooth and easy process at Wheels, Peterborough made even more by the friendly, informative staff. A very happy customer.

Fantastic buying experience with…

Fantastic buying experience with Wheels. I had the pleasure of dealing with Joe. I spotted a Supersport 950s but was buying without seeing in person. I was given a thorough walk around video, all of my queries were answered, nothing seemed to be a problem. They held the bike for me when I was unable to take delivery as quickly as I had hoped, and the bike arrived in amazing condition. As I have bought the bike without seeing, there is also a 14 day cooling off period if I change my mind or am unhappy. Amazing service all round, and all with really friendly communication. Would definitely buy from Wheels again.

Great Shop, Excellent Staff

I had the opportunity and pleasure of doing some business with Wheels Peterborough and thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a bike. The guys who looked after me, Matt and Joe, could not have made my job any easier and they did everything and more that I asked of them. The whole shop just seems "on the money" and eager to help. Go and spend some money there!

Nice bikes not so nice salesmen

Went there to look at buying a bike as it was recommended by a friend who had a triumph from them with no problems Nearly bought a triumph Bonneville spirit if it hadn't been for the salesman trying to con me stating it was all original when we both knew it wasn't. I really can't be bothered to deal with these people anymore so unfortunately he has lost a sale and won't be recommended by me. Avoid at all costs. Bought a totally original one this morning for Β£200 cheaper and in better condition.

A warm welcome back to the biking community

I had an excellent experience in the Peterborough shop yesterday, and especially with Nick, in clothing. She was an absolute star! I called a few days ago to check there was a helmet in stock in the right size and model, and she ordered one in for me before I made the trip over. She had the helmet ready when I got there - which was perfect, so I bought it - and was really helpful in explaining all the changes in clothing tech since I last bought bike gear. She was super-knowledgable about products, specs, fitting and safety and about what she had in stock and what she could order, and gave me excellent advice on fit. Her customer handling skills were excellent - I watched her with another customer and she was just as attentive and helpful to him as she was to me, and utilised her other member of staff really well to cover all the tasks as the shop got busier. I didn't catch the name of the other member of staff but she was very willing to help and worked hard to try and find clothing that would fit and suit my needs. I've never been to Wheels before, but it will definitely be my no 1 destination in future - the store was spotlessly clean and really well-presented. There was a good range of stock. All members of staff I passed, including in the bike sales dept, greeted me warmly, and I felt really at home. Please pass on my compliments to all members of staff in your store, and especially to Nick, who welcomed me back to the biking community, gave me great confidence and confirmed that it is the right decision to shop in person rather than buying online. Well done guys - it was a great buying experience. Many thanks

Brilliant service all round

Great service throughout. Bought a new Zero and Josh was awesome in explaining everything. Purchasing a new EV is something new, but would highly recommend Wheels and Josh to help. He explained everything!

Amazing service, got my Aprilia RSV4 service kit from these guys and they are very knowledgeable. Helped me with the measuring of the oil on the bike as proved rather difficult. Would use again for sure

The best aftersales service I have ever experienced

When I bought my Aprilia Caponord 1200 over 5 years ago from Wheels Motorcycles in Peterborough, it came with their lifetime guarantee. In other words, if I have it serviced by them in accordance with Aprilia service specs, they guarantee the bike for as long as I own it. Well, yesterday, I put that to the test. My fuel sender had failed again. It failed in Year 1 of ownership and was replaced under the official Aprilia warranty. Recently, it failed again. Wheels M/C agreed to replace it FOC and it was done yesterday. When I was booking it into the service desk, I asked if they would take a quick look at the exhaust servo valve, because it has seized up, even though there is no engine light on. So, they agreed to try and unseize it. In so doing, they have partially unseized it and now the red engine light is on. Andy, the Service Manager came to see me in reception and apologised for making it worse (i.e. making the light come on) and offered to fix it for free on a future date (it was about 5pm by this time). We had a chat about how this is a common fault with this model and how a lot of folk fit the Healtech Eliminator. Andy offered, if I buy myself an Eliminator, they will fit it for free and get rid of the engine light. So, I'll be taking them up on this offer. Also, when I take my bike in for servicing, I get it washed for free as well. I really can't fault the customer service at Wheels.
