Today we had Poppy install our fibre, who was friendly and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! Also the gents that laid the fibre in the back garden were all fantastic, approachable, friendly and enthusiastic. Internet speeds in our rural village are beyond what we ever expected out here and everyone who we have come across at Wessex Internet seems genuinely happy to work for them!
It’s a shame I had to contact Wessex yesterday due to my WiFi extender failing. I was surprised to wait so long before speaking to anyone in customer service. However I spoke to a very helpful young lady who tried her best but eventually it was passed to Will. He was extremely concerned about my issue but diligent enough to persevere until all was well. He even called me this morning to ascertain whether it was still working well. I’m pleased to say it is and hopefully it will continue to do so. Many thanks
Troy and his team laid fibre cables to our house taking care to mark and avoid the various services e.g. water, electricity, land drain etc. A very polite and knowledgeable team that created minimum mess. Adrian (Adi) installed the connection into the house such that it all worked first time. All things considered a very professional company. All the visits had been scheduled and the company kept the dates and timescales perfectly.

Knowledgeable, polite and efficient
First rate service from Will and his colleagues when our router packed up unexpectedly late in the afternoon on Wednesday 28 May 2025. Arranged for me to pick up a replacement next day which was fully set up for me to plug in and go. Result was minimum downtime with minimum hassle. Excellent service, thank you.
The installation into our house was excellent. Adrian did a very good job. He discussed with us where the boxes and cabling should go. Beyond the installation itself you wouldn't have known he had visited i.e. he had tidied up. We are very pleased with our new full fibre internet access, especially as we are in a rural location with tricky trunking access. It is incomparably faster than the previous provider.
Jimmy came round to attach our fiber to the house, he was awesome! Knew everything, was fast, got me hooked up quick and made sure all was working before he left.
To be clear, the install did have its hitches, but they sorted them. I shudder to think how complex it must be to roll out such a big project and not everything is going to be right first time. But every single person I met or spoke to was friendly and keen to please. They have a great team, including Katie, the Customer Resolutions Manager, Stephanie on Customer Support and Adi who did the final install. I don't know their names, but guys digging the cable into the ground were great. I'm not yet seeing the full 900mbit speed, (more like 800 at best) but I am very happy with the speed overall, well as the latency which is mostly around 5ms, compared to around 12ms for FTTC.
Once fibre became available at our property the connection was completed very quickly and the final installation was done very efficiently and effectively. All personnel involved were efficient and friendly. Internet speeds now 6x better than the previous provider.
First class service throughout, good communications, would recommend
A friendly and helpful organisation all the way through starting from our initial meeting with Ben Gatier. The installation and connection went smoothly. We've not noticed any difference in the speed from that of BT, our previous supplier. However, it's so good now to be dealing with personable and local people. Such a change from our disinterested dealings with BT. It's less expensive as well!
Flawless install the Engineer really went out his way to help us to get it positioned in the optimal spot and advised us that we would need a booster which was ordered the same day and was so easy to setup. The App works great and is so easy to use and coming from years of Bt broadband this is a massive difference. From start to finish it was so easy and the customer support team have been really helpful. I would highly recommend this Fibre service.

Garden Team 2 were great! Joe and his men appeared early in the time slot and completed the work to my satisfaction in an efficient and friendly way.
Adi, our installer, was bang on time, very efficient, friendly and helpful in every way. He really reassured us about swapping from our provider to Wessex Internet, and the broadband speed is so fast. Brilliant!

All teams friendly and happy to meet our thoughts on entry point and positioning. It would have been a 5 star except for location of the Toby Box which has been put on the inner edge of a lawn a metre and a half away from the pavement whilst we were away. The “Garden Team” couldn’t understand the placement either. As yet the speed isn’t as advertised but I appreciate that may be sorted in time.
Garden Team 4, led by Wayne, were excellent. Communication was great and they did a very tidy job in running the cable under our drive and lawn.
