Thank you to Jamie and Brandon, for doing such a good job with the garden stage of our install. They were really friendly and accomodating. You can tell they want to do the best job for the customer.

Absolutely rubbish, don’t use them! Their customer service is limited and they don’t have an app to control your setting. Worst of all the basic BT broadband was better than their fibre!!
I want to say a big Thankyou to Wessex and most especially the wonderful Lucy. She has been so kind, calm, patient and incredibly helpful throughout all the teething troubles we have had. The New Boosters brought by Liam and all set up have really sorted out the wifi issues upstairs and I am really very impressed how fast everything has been improved, resolved and sorted. We seemed to have had more than our expected share of difficulties since installation and I was worried and disappointed. Everyone was giving me a hard time about switching to Wessex and it was all beginning to feel a like a very bad idea. However, having such amazing customer care from Lucy who is exceptional, everything is sorted and everyone is happy. I'm relieved and grateful. Thank you so much for taking my dismay seriously and for sorting it all out.

This company is a disgrace, communication provider for rural broadband, and cannot clearly follow their business model. Failed communication when asking to cross our property, then re routed without telling us. Local meeting to tell people what’s going on not invited, luckily a neighbour informed us so we could attend. Week later an apology email, not a call (that would mean talking to a customer) saying about their errors and poor communication. Accepted and placed an order to get connected, garden team cannot install - failed just blamed civils team. On boarding left a voice message and an email to say will do all they can to keep install date the same. Night before install no communication so Customer calls them, on boarding blaming civils, no answer to when will be resolved or even a rough timescale. Said to cancel and I will stay with current provider. Team leader leaves another email, ( no attempt to speak to customer) email states same as before just blaming civils. Why does this company have a culture of fronting their internal issues to the customer. Why do they not call and speak to customers, or can they not tell the customer bad news.
The first team buried the cable and were very clean and tidy. Chris and Adi installed the fibre and made an excellent job. Super fast and I'm well happy. Andy
Wessex internet have been fantastic so far. They kept me informed of timescales for installation, which was completed to a good standard with consultation on placemenr and cable routing. The connection since installation has been great, much better then the copper Openreach connection it replaced. Stable speeds and no noticable drop outs. The provided router didn't do everything I needed it to (6 GHz WiFi), but the support team were able to assit me in getting my own equipment configured.
Stephanie was and is an asset to your company. I had a few problems, and will confess to possibly being grumpy about my new fibre broadband. Stephanie was calming and superbly professional, sorting out problems in a computer world l am not comfortable in. So grateful and happy with results. Thank you once again Stephanie. Your customer service team were brilliant They handed me over to Will on your tech team who by the process of elimination found it was the router. I got the new one today just 24 hours later. Just changed the cables and everything is working. Thank you all.
I have now been with Wessex Internet for many years and have always found them extremely helpful and supportive. Great service from Lucy in Customer Support today, both in helping out with a technical issue, and changing my broadband service to a more suitable package. Excellent!
I phoned in with a query about my broadband. Phone was answered quickly by Lucy, very helpful and friendly. Went through the issue with me and offered a solution which involved turning the WiFi off ( that termintes the call as I use WiFi calling dye to non existent phone signal ) Lucy phoned me back as promised as soon as my WiFi showed back on her system Problem fixed. Excellent service
In my experience, this company is outstanding. From start to finish, the total experience was interesting and efficient. From the survey, (thank you Phoebe) to the ducting team (Jason & Co?) to the gardens team and finally to Josh our installer. For comparison, I did a speed test on the old BT broadband on the morning of my installation, which amounted to 1.67mg download and 0.36mg upload. I now have over 250mg download speed which has finally brought my property into the 21 Century! As much as I criticised the old Conservative government, I am happy to now congratulate them for a job well done by giving grants etc to the likes of Wessex Internet in order to roll out fibre broadband to the rural communities such as ours. Having said that, I very much doubt whether other companies are as efficient and friendly as Wessex Internet. A mention to Katie too on the helpdesk for her efficiency and very friendly manner. If only all British companies could be as good as WI. I’m sure we would be a world leader if that was the case. Efficiency, approachability, quality of products (the best Nokia hubs etc) and quality of service are all beyond reproach. Well done, and thank you to an excellent team for a job well done! I would most definitely recommend this company on future.

Early days only installed last week but does what it says on the tin. Speed fast went from 22mb with previous provider to 220 with Wessex thought the iPad was going to take off. Doesn’t go out into the garden like previous provider but the have advised a Wi-Fi booster would solve that problem. Apart from channeling across and down my lawn, which I was aware would happen the rest of the installation was quick clean and professionally set up with plenty of advice. If you are able to access this company I would do so

I had a problem with my router and I still do not know what the issue was but it could well have been me or the equipment itself. It mattered not because Will, from Wessex Internet, called following my report and patiently stuck at it until is was resolved. He was knowledgable, calm and pleasant throughout. What a super representative of a well loved company.
Have had Wessex Internet FTTP for a couple of years now and they have been fantastic. First issue last week and it was rapidly resolved by an engineer leaving us with even faster and smoother internet access. Very friendly, pleasant and efficient service. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
Our internet went down on Easter Saturday. On Easter Day I rand Wessex internet on the off chance someone would answer and they did! A very helpful man tried simple advice but it required a technician. I did have to wait until Tuesday because of the Bank Holidays but it was worth it. A lovely lady called Lucy went through discovering what had happened ( it was our fault! ) and talked me through putting it right. A further problem with our booster router was sorted by another technician the following day. I was so impressed by all of the technicians, especially Lucy. They showed patience and kindness and total professionalism in handling and resolving our Internet problems. I am glad we are with them.
Communication with company on a one to one level is very good. Emails and phone calls responded to very quickly. Ben came to us March 2024 and answered all my queries as I didn’t really understand what was involved. Set a date to contact us just a year later as we had just renewed our current contract. So date was set for running fibre to bungalow and then further appointment a week late for the full installation. All went well until I received notification 3 days into use that I had used almost all of my data. The following day I was over 100%I panicked a bit as I had understood it was the same as my current. I contacted them and upgraded plan to unlimited. Very helpful and very reassuring. I still have my old broadband but whilst paying that my new one is not charging me. I still have problems reaching bedrooms in bungalow even though I have TP extensions, I had hoped this would be better with this new system, but it’s early days yet. I can’t understand why they don’t have a working customer portal, I like to be able to monitor my account. I’m assured this is being developed but why not now?
