if i could give a minus i would

if i could give a minus i would. the customer service level is beyond atrocious, almost 1 year (aug 24) of their burst water main outside my house causing damage to my property, countless phone calls (always an empty promise) countless emails and letters sent, and still i am waiting and being promised when they answer the phone that someone will come out to asses the damage. the stress this has caused me is horrendous. Another email sent today, i wonder will i even get a response and another empty promise.

Irish water is the worst utility…

Irish water is the worst utility company on the planet. I have been trying to close account for over a year and it is still unresolved. They are useless and all about money. Our government should hang the heads in shame. Frustrating and annoyed

Superb service

I would give them double the amount of stars if there was an option. From my initial call to a lovely pleasant man to the 2 men who came and sorted my blocked sewage drain, they were simply fantastic. Workmen came within 2.5 hours and despite having to deal with a horrendous mess, they were super professional and a delight to deal with. Cannot thank them enough. Ennis area

WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET If there was a minus star I would pick…

If there was a minus star I would pick that. The worst customer service by a long shot of any company I have had dealings with. For four years I have been trying to get an account into my name....long story and weary of the re-telling of it. No one replies to emails, staff answering phones are apparantly working from home with no way of transferring anybody onto a manager, some are nice, others you suspect went to the loo or sat filing their nails while I droned on with the long saga, getting increasingly frustrated, lost letters (they lost mine), no apology for all the stress caused, still not sorted and I'm now considering contacting the Ombudsman. Whoever runs this company is doing a terrible job.

This company is atrocious!

This company is atrocious!! The water supply in my neighbourhood has been experiencing constant disruption for the last six weeks or so with no prior warning. It is literally pot luck ever morning when you turn the tap on as to whether you have a decent supply, or any supply, of water. When I ring up to find out what is going on the staff are very nice but can offer no help and are clearly reading from a script. A large part of the training they receive is very obviously to "Fob The Customer Off" On one occasion I asked for a supervisor to call me regarding the issue. I received a call from the most ignorant man, who wouldn't give his name, could barely put a sentence together and put the phone down on me when I questioned him. My partner then rang him only to experience the same . When he asked him his name he was told in an aggressive tone that " Its none of your business ". The so called supervisor then slammed the phone down on him. Emailing Irish Water regarding this has proven fruitless! They clearly view their customers with utter contempt. Their unprofessionalism is an absolute embarrassment to Ireland.

Awful..

3 stars. Only because there was a great Lady named Terry that was helping alot. Thanks to her for helping write conplaint and trying to do what she can with this situation. With very little amount of informatiin that is given to the customer support team.. Other than that its redicolous. 2 days no water. From irish water side all thats needed for SDCC is to confirm that its nothing to do with irish water.. How Hard can that be?? Impossible 2 days without water and a 6month old baby Who is formula fed.. Redicilous..

Don't even bother to show up to fix broken public pipes

No service! 24h!!!! after reporting a water mains leak there still hasn't someone shown up, phone service just says "in progress". No help is given just excuses in the meantime 5 families without water for over a day as the supply had to be turned off. Problem is on street level so private plumbers wont touch it.

Boiling water in Limerick

Boiling water in Limerick City almost 2 weeks now, and not one person from irish water, nor the council for that matter, has made contact to inform us to do so???? The water is brown, maybe thats the standard these days? Not good enough in this day n age , trying to make contact with this company well over a week now , better chance of magic "clean" water well appearing in the garden

This has to be one of the worst…

This has to be one of the worst companies to deal with .The Enfield ,Co meath water supply has constantly been disrupted and this is not acceptable in this day and age .. anytime I contact the company I am given a different excuse and told lies. The water supply should have been kept in government ownership not private .

To be avoided at all costs

Unreal experience. Pass the buck. About as useless as any company can be. Not fit for purpose. How their employees can lie is amazing.

I know Ireland is the most backwards…

I know Ireland is the most backwards country on earth but is it really the third world? A water supply Company that can’t supply water, really ? I don’t live in Ireland but am currently visiting family and the water has been off 3 times in the past week and apparently it happens regularly, that’s not normal. Outside of Ireland, I have NEVER in my entire life had a water cut. Get your act together or don’t expect to receive payment.

Worst company ever to deal with

Irish Water are by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. The customer service people are lovely BUT the whole company is inefficient, ineffective and useless. Still have no water to my house after trying to get this sorted for nearly 2 months. Currently getting water through a garden hose from neighbours next door.

Stop building houses in Johnstown

Stop building houses in Johnstown, Navan if you're not capable to supply water, works on water line should've been finished on the 4th of September, its the 6th and now you're saying they're gonna be finished on the 7th... THIS IS GOING ON FOR MONTHS!!! We have kids and a baby under 1yr, you should be ashamed of yourselves, put at least some water tanks on the bottom of the estate, how are we supposed to wash, to make milk bottles, to cook, like seriously, this is disgraceful, in 2020 not to have water for weeks, on and off for months, and dont even get me started about the quality of the water even when we get it for an hour at 3am. I'm sick and tired how many times I rang and complained and so did my neighbours when they rang. Cill Foireann estate in Johnstown HAS NO WATER and there are only 74 houses and there's still a water supply issue.. stop building houses if you're not capable.
