Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative…

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Euro pass 15 days stopped after 8days

I have been with voxi many years now and haven't had any need to fault them that was until I I bought the 15 day europass costing £20. Now I use this every time I go abroad and never had a problem until this time. We flew to Malta on the 24th if June and activated the pass with no problems,8 days later there was no no 4g signal the signal bars was full but couldn't get data. About 7hrs later it suddenly came back on. There is no Vodafone Malta now as it was replaced with epic. The next day again no Internet so we went to the epic office and asked if there was a problem with there data, the answer was no and they checked my settings and said àll should be good. I then contacted voxi and was on the chat for 2 hrs and in the end he said there was nothing he could do so as a way of compensation he said I could have for £12 monthly 75 GB I stead of my 12gb. I said this wasn't compensation as I could have changed the plan myself for free and that anyway I don't use up my 12gb allowance ever so why would this be a compensation? So this is the funny bit,my partner had taken the same pass on the same day and had exactly the same problem as me with the data so she was on the chat as well. To cut a long story short she got £10 refunded but the guy insisted that it was a location poor signal problem even though it was fine for 8 days and even though we went to epic office where the signal was excellent but still no data. One offers a refund partially the other couldn't. Unbelievable

Voxi was Brilliant at first free to…

Voxi was Brilliant at first free to send photos by text included with the plan all Great Value for money. However my bank switch did not carry over Voxi/Vodafone regular card payment but as soon as I was notified by text I then spoke to the agent via chat and avoided loosing my plan altogether ( no longer available ,much less for more money plans only) This went well paid my top up ,the following payment will be coming out of my new bank monthly...... 😱.....Shock though before this payment arrangement and my keeping the original plan checkout page that wouldn't complete without my agreement to SAVE THE 3 DIGIT SECURITY NUMBER !!! Companies DO NOT need your personal 3 digit security number on the back of debit cards to take further monthly payments from your bank , AND the PCI DATA SECURITY STANDARD is Prohibited from doing so !!! Beware Everyone !!!! Such A shame the Agents are really nice people but the Voxi Vodafone Payment Systems are in Deep Trouble !! 😰

Terrible customer services

Impossible to deal with customer services . I’ve cancelled the account and money keeps being taken from my account. Dealing with customer service (Nonjabulo and Tana ) to literally no avail. No response through FB messenger. All info given and no response or inability to help after a very long repeated security check. Evidently my name and birthdate did not pass security. I also gave the last 4 digits of my card, but that too did not pass security. Voxi had just taken money from the account. The account was cancelled on the 20th June and they took further money on 4/07. It appears that the information given is not read and nor have they or did they read further correspondence from a previous customer service complaint. My name, along with the name through the correspondence and the bank are all the same. You are dealing with a bot like response with computer generic communication. They can link all the information through the phone number to match the last 4 digits and name and date of birth yet I am now (again) left with money taken out of the account from a closed account. VOXI I want this money returned immediately and a response from Voxi.

Used to be decent a couple years ago

Used to be pretty decent a couple years ago, however, VOXI has been providing terrible service recently. I purchased an 8 day EU roaming pass which didn’t show in my account, and it took about 30 minutes of answering security questions to get this resolved. Now that I have gone to purchase a 1 day EU roaming pass, it doesn’t even take me to the payment page. How am I supposed to trust my provider when they leave me stranded like this? The drops used to be decent too, there hasn’t been anything good for months now. Seriously considering switching.

Voxi are just scammers

Avoid. Unhelpful , lying and almost non existent customer support. The refer a friend is just a scam, i am waiting for the reward since last november ( it's July now) To catch and grab the Voxi drop has same chance as to win a lottery. The included Video/music / social network still use your data, so that's another scam.

Unhelpful @ lying Voxi staff

I have a Voxi SIM card and found the claims of “endless social media” and “endless calls and texts” incredibly misleading, not to mention the “terms and conditions” are so small I’d need a telescope in order to read them. So I cancelled the plan. When I ran out of credit I realised I NEEDED to keep that same number for my work. I cannot for the life of me work out how to top it up. In my account it insists my username is something like CHVHOMSBLH whereas I always include either mine or my pets names as usernames on websites. So I bought a second Voxi sim as I’ve seen them in the shops in the past claim you can keep your old number. I’m looking at the card the new SIM card came inside and there’s absolutely no mention of keeping an old number anywhere on it. I rang the Voxi complaint phone number and explained I can’t top my phone up, that I have bought a second sim and please could you tell me what to do as I want to keep the same number. He asked me to choose a plan so I chose 8GB which is £10 a month. He said they don’t do that. I said I’m holding the card the newest SIM card came in right in front of my face and that I could screenshot it to him if he doesn’t believe me. He said he can’t accept screenshots. He said it a couple of times and pretty much accused me of being a liar. I asked him why I know more about his job than HE does and suggested maybe going on a training course. He just kept fobbing me back onto doing something on the internet where no doubt I’d be stuck talking to a useless piece of rusty metal that doesn’t understand basic, short, correctly spelt words with no slang or abbreviations; but I’d hoped he’d tell me step-by-step what to do. I repeated sooo many times I just CAN’T do it and he made me so angry and frustrated; referring to himself as “helping” me about 15 times that I ended up head-butting my wardrobe in anger. I told him I’ll be leaving a review of him on here and asked for his name. Vince 🙄. Common name in India apparently (said no-one ever)
