The instructions included with the refill kit is different than what you find on utube about the process Pelican wants you to follow. The kit does not include the garden hose adapter for refilling outside. I decided to follow the Pelican instructions and letting the carbon settle and the back flush method. I had to purchase from the local plumbing store a 1" female pvc with threads, a 1" slip to a 3/4" threaded, and a reducer to a garden thread pvc. Total cost about $6.00. It worked great and the process was very easy using a combination of the two instructions from Pelican and from US Systems. I am amazed at the difference in the water. It really was easy and worth the cost! Thanks, Michael D.
