Travel Protect To The Rescue
Cyclone Alfred turned my travel plans upside down. Flights canceled airports closed and a tour of Laos booked to start 10 Mar. Had to drive from Townsville to Airlie Beach, then a ferry to Hamilton Island a Flight to Sydney. Overnight accommodation and taxis to and from the airport. On return home my claim for out-of-pocket expenses was handled quickly with a full refund less excess within 2 days. Couldn't be happier.

Easy online application, very competitive pricing. Although, fortunately, nothing happened during my travels to give rise to a claim, it was reassuring to know that I had insurance sufficient to cover my out-of-pocket expenses in the event of an unforeseen occurrence curtailing my trip or loss of luggage.
