Check Not Received / Getting Run-Around

I received an email saying a check was issued more than a month ago and my claim was marked Closed - however, I have not received the check. I emailed Travel Guard twice but received no response. I called the listed phone number, sat on hold for a long time, gave my claims #, my travel dates, my first/last name multiple times - then was told the person who answered couldn't help cancel the check / send a new one. The claims adjuster will call back - maybe. This all feels like stalling.

Excellent service!!

I forgot to buy travel insurance from the cruise line when I booked my cruise so I went to this website and bought theirs. Well I ended up getting sick 2 days before the cruise and had to cancel. I filed a claim with them and within 10 days I had my reimbursement check. I will definitely use them again!

I wasn't able to use the same ticket to come back. It means that I buy a new ticket because your company cancelled my trip. I will not buy this kind of cheapest ticket

Travel Guard denial

We bought Travel Guard insurance for our trip to South Africa. Our luggage was delayed by 24 hours and that should be covered by the bought policy. Since we did not buy essentials (we arrived late with no stores nearby and had an early tour in am) they denied any compensation.

Lack of Communication

First off, I have used Travel Guard in the past with zero issues and 100% satisfaction; however, for my next travel adventures I will be using a competitor. I had three separate issues on my trip to SE Asia, and only one was resolved. I have called my case manager, Chase, three times, and he has not called me back. I am incredibly disappointed in Travel Guard with the lack of response for my issues, and I will be using one of your competitors in the future.

My flight was cancelled due a…

My flight was cancelled due a significant fire in the parking garage adjacent to the terminal. I was unable to schedule another flight until late the following day. I had even upgraded my flights for comfort, but on the rescheduled flight, I was on the last row of the plane, unable to recline at all for the 8 hr flight. I missed 2 days of my scheduled trip. I filled a claim for reimbursement, Travel Guard was very prompt in their response. I felt it was a very fair settlement under the very unusual circumstances which were completely out of my control. Thank you.
