Lisa Atkinson was helpful and kept us up to date with what happened next. Lisa checked us in and our documents were posted out to us. I would use Lisa again when looking at future holidays.

Stephen organised our complete holiday:- - Silversea port to port cruise - Flights - Pre-cruise hotel accommodation - Taxi travel from airport to hotel all went smoothly and the hotel was ideally positioned.

Italy. Fabulous organisation by Rich and Lou as always! We are so time poor we literally told them Amalfi coast and maybe Sicily and they presented us with a fab itinerary of gorgeousness to fit our budget! Our friends are always flabbergasted that we trust Rich and Lou but we just DO! They never fail to get the holidays bang on. We do a bit of research just before we leave on where and what to see and eat but the locations are always spot on. They listen to our needs and this time we had to cater for: -one teen who wanted instagrammable locations! -one adult who wants history and culture -one teen who wants to dive off rocks and go on boats -one adult who wants to see everything and have an adventure! Half the team love sun and half can't cope with it so needed aircon! We had a blast and everyone loved it! We started our big birthday adventure in Sorrento. The hotel is a short walk to the train station. We traveled in daily did excursions from Sorrento. One on the ferry to Positano which was ace. We ate in the main town and also in the marina grande (which weirdly is the smaller of the harbours!) the piccolo one is the big horrible one. 🤷🏻‍♀️ go figure. Marina grande is lovely for views and seafood. Alpha was a Lovely hotel. Did fabulous pizza. Had a brilliant pool with lots of shade and gorgeous seating in a large shaded garden. The hotel were really helpful and suggested that we don’t go to the beach at Sorrento but that we go to the beach near the hotel. Which was so much nicer. We had to pay to go to the beach club. New experience but lovely. Think it cost us £35 pp and we had to pay for two parasols! They gave us towels though. Then Pompei. Weirdly much nicer town than we had been prepared for! The hotel was brilllllll. The website is really bad. The hotel is so much nicer than the website! We ate there and it was delicious. We decided to get a train to Naples from here as we had a whole afternoon free. Easy to get the train. Again at the end of the road. Had a fab afternoon in Naples. Pompei. Amazing. So glad we stayed overnight. We got up super early and were in the gates by 9am. Back in air con by 2pm! Next flew to Sicily Villa Felicia in Sicily near Noto was lovely. Really relaxed and all the staff super chilled. The pool was gorgeous and we had access to their sister resort down the road with two more pools one of which is salt water and very big. We decided our pool was better tho! Breakfast amazing. Best we had. The evening food was a bit too fussy for our kids so we went out each night to nearby fishing village that we loved called marzememi. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay in marzememi though as it’s heaving on a weekend. All the locals and holiday makers head there! Heaps of restaurants, really pretty spot and lots of good people watching. We did a boat trip that was amazing that the hotel recommended. Lots of snorkelling and we found star fish and octopus with our guide! Also visited the historic towns of Syracusa and Ragusa ibla. Fab gorgeous towns. And went to the beach! Gorgeous sand and waters. The hotel lent us parasols and we hired beach towels from them. Thank you. An amazing adventure. We had an absolute blast. Ate loads of cake and ice cream pizza pasta, fish, calamari and lobster!!! A fab way way to celebrate turning 50. Xxx

I was recommended Travel Counsellors by a freind as I was feeling totally overwhelmed with a choice of holidays available. It was my first time booking a family package holiday. And I was going round in circles on all the travel websites. It was such a simple a seamless process, I gave a brief outline of what I was looking for. Within a couple of hours I was sent 5 choices. Made my choice, sent a few bits of paperwork, I was sent the payment link, the next day all of my tickets arrived through my door in my travel pack. Just 1 week later me and my 3 children were playing in a swimming pool in the south of Spain and the most perfect hotel. I can't thank you enough, the whole experience was so simple and stress free. The flights, transfers and hotel perfect. And great value for money too.

Communication is always so clear and the fact that Karen works as part of a wider team means there is so much knowledge base available when looking for advice about our choices.

Amazing experience in Thailand. The hotels were all of an excellent standard and the trips we had booked were all led by experienced guides who made sure we had the best possible time.

Angela Visciano - 🤩 Wow, just wow - THANK YOU!! I am that nightmare customer who leaves everything to the last minute then hopes for a miracle ✈️ ☀️ 🤞🏼 - Angela came up trumps! Angela was incredibly helpful, she immediately sprang into action, was there at the end of the phone literally day & night to make sure that everything was right & that I was happy - I absolutely am! I will never consider using anyone other than Angela going forward, her customer service skills and professionalism are outstanding.

Michelle is quick to respond to any queries. The holiday was well planned with good communication.

We used Pippa to book our holiday to Menorca this year as well as last year. It’s an excellent and very easy service from start to finish. Great to know you have 24hour contact if needed. Pippa is very efficient and I would highly recommend.

Just came back from Cape Verde and had the most amazing time at the Rui Cabo couldn’t fault the hotel the staff were great and the food was lovely. Everything was made much easier by the lady who booked everything and made sure we had nothing to worry about thank you Kim Mckie and we will be in touch soon to book our next holiday

I would highly recommend Jo Williams at Travel Counsellors. I approached Jo last year with an idea for a multi centre trip in Italy for our family of 4. We knew which areas we wanted to visit but the logistics were just too complicated & the choices so overwhelming when I looked at arranging it myself. Jo made sure she knew exactly what we wanted & gave us options within our budget. She constantly checked to make sure we were happy with the details & shared her knowledge of the little extras that truly made it an amazing holiday to remember. It was so easy to follow the information on our itinerary at each location to get checked in and to get our transfers & car hire. We didn’t need any support whilst we were away but knowing we could have called on Jo or the Travel Counsellors team was so reassuring. Jo definitely took all of the stress out of holiday planning and we’ll definitely be using her again. Thanks so much Jo, you lived up to the title of Fairy Godmother!

We had an incredible safari experience in Kenya thanks to the expert help of our travel consultant, Jen Crowe. She was incredibly helpful and flexible as we adjusted our itinerary to include visits to different parks, always ensuring that our plans met our needs and expectations. Jen arranged our safari through Sense of Africa, and they were outstanding. What truly made the trip unforgettable was our amazing driver and guide, Christopher Mutuku, who was with us for six days. His knowledge, professionalism, and warm personality truly enhanced our holiday. Jen also made sure we were always up to date with our flight information and maintained excellent communication throughout the planning process. We couldn’t have asked for better service and support. Highly recommended!
