Ga naar Cicar

Door een vluchtvertraging in China kon mijn kameraad 2 dagen later aanwezig zijn in Lanzarote. Ik had al een wagen van bij Cicar. Dus ik met zijn vrouw naar de luchthaven, want alles was al betaald. Totaal geen begrip daar en zeker geen hulp. Zelfs een arrogant lachje. Ze kreeg hem niet mee omdat haar man hem geboekt heeft. Terwijl ze wel als chauffeur opstaat. Na 2 dagen kreeg zelfs haar man hem niet meer omdat je de auto binnen 24 uur moet ophalen. Nooit meer Topcar... Wij noemen het flopcar. Nu nog hopen dat ze het geld terugkrijgen.

Avons récupéré les informations et dû payer une assurance supplémentaire tout risque de 68 € pour 15 jours et avons du aller récupérer les clés à un autre endroit sans grande explication. Le GPS ne fonctionnait pas de retour en agence refus de changer de voiture car pas d'autres voitures avec un GPS. Vidange a 1200km. Pneus dégonflés...

Fantástica experiencia!!! Lo aconsejo totalmente. Habíamos reservado un descapotable pequeño, y nos dieron por el mismo precio un precioso TRoc, nuevecito. El trato también muy agradable, así que repetiremos.

Only with topcar this problem not with others

I booked a car on xpedia ( this company tried their best) but topcar is the worst company ever Don’t book with them My wife has no creditcard of herself So I did the booking I gave her my passport picture the booking confirmation and my creditcard that I used to book this car She is not allowed to collect this car It is paid in full until 3/8 20 days from now They said the car will be available 24 h after collection date How is this possible if you show up ? I can believe this is you don’t show up Other carcompany I don’t have this problem

Topcar = Top Service

Im Juni 2025 für 10 Tage einen Minivan geliehen. Gleich am ersten Tag ein Motorproblem, jedoch wurde das Ersatzfahrzeug innerhalb von 3 Stunden an unsere Ferienwohnung gebracht. Anmietung, Admin sowie Rückgabe ohne Probleme , Kaution war am zweiten Tag nach Rückgabe wieder auf dem Konto Topcar = Top Service

Imagine getting a car with worn brake…

Imagine getting a car with worn brake pads in tenerife and going with it to masca valley. After that, they replaced it with a lower category, and keep insisting that it was an upgrade (I booked a Renault clio and got a Toyota aygo instead 😅)

I had a great experience with top car I…

I had a great experience with top car I was sceptical beforehand with some of the reviews but we got a free upgrade when we arrived and the insurance or deposit tat was needed was explained well in advance so no surprises there… I left a deposit of €700 and had in back in my account 2 days later great service in Lanzorate I’ll will def use again

Plus jamais !!!

Personnel désagréable. Obligation de prendre une assurance en plus ... vu notre refus : encaissement du rachat de franchise au lieu simplement d'un dépôt de garantie ... véhicule donné sans aucune mention des bosses, rayures etc ... donc envoie de + de 30 photos à topcar Lanzarote et remise du véhicule avec le réservoir à moitié ... ça ne leur a pas plu qu'on le fasse mentionner sur le contrat ...

Nach einem Tag einen Reifenschaden

Nach einem Tag einen Reifenschaden, kann passieren. Allerdings sind die Reifen an der Verschleissgrenze, dadurch ist das eindringen von Fremdkörpern warscheinlich. Auf den Canaren sind die Straßen abseits der Hauptstraßen nicht Asphaltiert, dann passiert das schnell. Am 2. Tag das Fahrzeug getauscht, das Problemlos. Allerdings wird der Reifenersatz und die Nutzung des Reparatursets berechnet. Das zahlt dann unsere Versicherung, aber Reifen an der Verschleißgrenze auf Kosten der Kunden bezahlt zu bekommen ist nicht in Ordnung. Ähnlichen Fall hatten wir vor 4 Jahren in Florida, dort wurde sich vom Vermieter mehrfach entschuldigt, und wir haben ein Ersatzfahrzeug erhalten ohne für den defekten Reifen aufkommen zu müssen. Als Tip vor Übernahmedie Reifenanschauen.

No sign of car booked

We had booked an Audi A3 for our trip in Fuertaventura and we were told on arrival they had none and that a Mazda 3 was an equivalent. Let me assure everyone, it isnt. Besides that, the Mazda 3 isn't listed anywhere on their website. Neither did we see any Audi cars in the parking spaces. In essence, booking an Audi appears to be a scam to give you an inferior car for a higher price.

Deposit not returned in full

This the second time I have been charged extra £45 due to the company charging my credit card instead of blocking the amount on the card. At the desk I was presented with the option to pay pounds or euro, the staff advised me to use euro without mentioning I will be losing money due to the exchange rate they use. They are liars and cheaters. I would not recommend.

I used Top Car at Tenerife Sur

I used Top Car at Tenerife Sur. My first car was faulty , I contacted Top Car and they brought a replacement car to my apartment within an hour. No questions asked. No charge. I was refunded the deposit in full . Staff spoke good English and were efficient.

90 euros for a tiny sunshade mirror…

(UPDATE: I left a negative comment on their Instagram which they deleted, followed by blocking me. Very professional behaviour!) We forgot to take a picture of the sunshade mirror (it is behind a sliding door - as if anyone would think to check this). When dropping off the car the lady didn’t even look at the outside, which was covered in dents and scratches, but went straight to the sunshade mirror... which turned out to be cracked (but we had not even used). Very suspicious and scammy behaviour. The fact that they then charged us €90 was pure extortion. Reminder to all: CHECK YOUR SUNSHADE MIRRORS and photograph the interior as well. They will try to squeeze every euro from you when you return the car. Will never rent again from this company, they are cheap for a reason. Cars are in poor condition, waiting time to collect was very long and the 900 euro deposit which is charged and then refunded, instead of just being blocked is ridiculous as well.
