Misleading customer, defective car, wrong charges
One star for lying to the customer, providing a defective car, and applying the arbitrary charges later. Do not trust assurances from the TopCar employees. Force them to fill defect sheet when you pick up the car. I rented a car from TopCar at Lanzarote airport on February 28. It had multiple scratches and a low tire pressure indicator. Despite assurances that photos would prevent issues, TopCar later charged me for the flat tire. I filed a complaint (case D009479217) but received a generic boilerplate response. Be cautious when renting from TopCar; they may impose arbitrary charges.
