I really like the variety of treats. The only issues are the chocolate treats are melted when received. But I do understand that cannot be helped. But maybe take that in consideration when choosing snacks.

Delicious selection of really unique snacks and drinks.

Paid CAD 699 for a year, as a present to my girlfriend. Canceled my auto-renewal immediately, even emailing the company to make sure there wouldn't be unforeseen problems related to that (undelivered packages, for instance). I was told all would be well, but a year later, I was auto-renewed anyway, and told I never canceled. They refused to refund me, and I literally don't have the money to pay for it this year. They've only sent out one package so far for the new cycle, which I told them I would pay for, but they still won't cancel the future deliveries or refund me. I keep emailing them back about it, and I get mostly scripted answers saying it's just not possible. Worst customer service ever. For what seemed like a decent—albeit expensive—little service, it sure seems shady and kinda scam-like now. I've noticed many similar complaints online since this happened to me. I wonder if I'll see a video on them one day, like with Established Titles: a total scam company that everyone on YouTube endorsed until it got called out for their shady business practices, and promptly died. EDIT: After 13 days of back-and-forths with a customer service rep, I eventually got a refund. While I'm satisfied now, I honestly didn't think I would be. I can see how others in my shoes may have just given up. Take this as both a word of warning and credit where credit is due.

It's my first box and I absolutely love it! So many different snacks and the shipping was really fast.

The TokyoTreat team and service is great, I received my first box much quicker than I had expected and all the snacks were great. Well worth the price, and the regular deals and extras are worth keeping an eye out for.

I've been receiving these boxes for almost 4 years now and every box is a joy to open and full of delicious treats! For the first time in nearly 4 years, one of the snacks was found damaged and inedible upon opening the box. I contacted customer service about the issue and in less than 12 hours received a beautifully worded response back apologizing for that happening and them offering a extra random treat in the next box to make up for it. Thank you Tokyo Treat for always providing a wonderful way to experience different culture and always having great customer service.

I love the booklet that comes along with the snacks, it really makes you feel like you’re trying out snacks in Japan! Super fresh and delicious.
