I've been buying Japanese snacks for years now from amazon but Tokyo Treats is so much better. For starters, the quality is much higher and more varied. The noodles were an especially delightful surprise as well. The booklet was very informative and included a lot of fun information about Japan. It even arrived at on time (something I've had issues with in the past with other crates). Even though I'm not fond of sweet potato, even I could appreciate just how accurate the flavours were , as advertised. Not everything was to my taste but I'll still rate it 10/10. I highly recommend.

Been a good company giving out good snacks each month. The customer service is amazing even though we are in different time zones. Yummy snacks from Japan~

Nice selection of items

Got my 2nd box sent all the way to Australia and the treats are amazing. My kids couldn’t wait to try all the treats and we have definitely added Mt Fuji to our must visit list. The okonomiyaki corn puffs were the bomb.

Awesome Tokyo treat this month. Lots and lots of great products. Always delivered quickly.

The crackers were crushed, the chocolate treats melted and the blueberry marshmallows smashed to a pulp. For this hefty price they could've bothered wrapping it better. The selection was OK, with small portions (as expected). I guess everyone will find something they can tolerate, but to me, the nestle products and chocolate products weren't especially japanese tasting... What about adding some mochi instead?

Commenting to warn others about ordering this product...I ordered a 6 month subscription as a gift for my sister, and was notified on 10/25 that my 6 month subscription was auto-renewed. I was charged the price which was over $200. I e-mailed customer service immediately and cancelled my subscription, and I saw that the next box had not even shipped yet. So far, I have been told that they will not refund me, I have been provided no way to escalate the issue, and I have only been offered coupons to their other products, which I obviously do not want. Really disappointed by the lack of customer service and integrity of this company.

As a long-time Tokyo Treat recipient, it was great to receive the October Halloween box. We opened it tonight - we have a tradition of waiting until after our evening meal and then enjoying a small selection each evening, shared between 4 of us. It’s such a joy - Japanese snacks are so unique and I can’t recommend them enough. This month, we started with the tomato sticks - savory and fabulous. Thanks Tokyo Treats!

Meget fin kundeservice. Produkterne er sikkert fine nok, men som dansker ender du med at betale PostNord 160 kr i gebyr for håndtering af moms. Dertil kommer moms. Ca 500 kr i alt. Alt for dyrt for den mængde man får (1 kg slik/snacks). Endte derfor med at lade pakken gå tilbage. Rigtig ærgerligt, for japansk slik er spændende og lækkert, og konceptet er fedt. Bare ikke i afgiftsplagede Kundeservice var god til at lukke mit abonnement og jeg fik mine penge tilbage. Derfor 5 stjerner.

I love Tokyo Treat, I got my second box today and so far I’m really excited about all the snacks. Every treat box has included expedited shipping and for both of my boxes I got them a week after they shipped and around 9 days after I placed my order. For 50 USD (shipping included) and around 63 CAD it’s a really good price for 15-20 Japanese treats every month and with the option to skip or cancel any time I can skip the boxes I am not interested or if I don’t have the money!

What a fun subscription box Tokyo Treat Box is! For the price it's an exceptional value and I like that it has a balanced selection of sweet and savory snacks and that they are full sized. I also noticed that all the snacks in this box were fresh. No stale crackers or chips like I've experienced in other similar boxes. Very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend to friends, family, and as a gift.
