Nostalgia. Plain and simple. I had been stationed in Japan for four years and had a great time trying new food and snacks when I was there. Wanting to share that with my kids now, we got this and now I’m sharing memories with them and explaining where I had certain ones before. Love it!

My box was delayed a little, but it wasnt by much. The presentation after opening the box was beautiful and the snacks were even better. Definitely worth a try

I had a year long subscription auto renew without my knowing and tried to get this cancelled and refunded (before any boxes were shipped or received). The support was not willing to help and so I had to escalate to PayPal. Once escalated, I was informed by TokyoTreat that I would not be getting the refund nor the boxes because of the PayPal case. They did eventually provide a coupon for one year of boxes (with no refund so essentially I was forced to pay for a year of unwanted boxes). Fine, chalked it up to a learning experience. BUT after this year has now expired (which was payed for using said coupon), they have renewed me for another year without notice! I made it clear that I could not afford the initial year but definitely cannot afford this second one! I have just raised another ticket with support and will update accordingly.

I got surprised by a massive 400$AUD leaving my bank account one day for a service from these guys that I didn't want. Within hours I sent them a series of messages demanding they keep their boxes and give me my refund. Just canceling the subscriptions was excruciating, filled with numerous pop-ups trying to get me to stay. Battled with customer service who straight up lied to me and told me they 'couldnt' refund anything, but later admitting they could but simply chose not to. Never had this experience with superior companies like Amazon, who put the customer first. This company puts the customer LAST, and hides this contempt behind a veil of politeness. Their contempt for their customers is very real and I hope no one ever has to deal with this nightmare of a company.

I've had other snack boxes but, TokyoTreat is definitely my favorite. Great variety of tasty snacks, both sweet and savory. My box even included some ramen! I would definitely recommend this for anyone that wants to try Japanese snacks.

Great selection always very interesting, shame there is a very strict no refund policy even before any box has shipped. On a yearly sub that is really a huge turn off

There sweets are amazing

Everything is sent right to my door. It's all delicious and let's you try different flavor combinations you never would have thought of or had the chance to experience. Lots of interesting facts and info on the locations and the food. Well worth the subscription costs. 100% Recommend for anyone who has been curious about Japanese foods and snacks.

A really good mix of items to tryout.

So short story I love the box. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but only because my stupid country thinks that you need to pay extra tax. But not only that my stupid country think it need to hold my box for 10 days before releasing it. But I have already tried a lot of the snacks, and they were great... most of them. My only problem is how do i buy the stuff i really loved again!

I love Tokyo Treat and have been a long time buyer. Cool snacks and chance to try new flavors and things! Found some unexpected favorites.

We love these boxes so much! Every week we get surprised with brand new snacks that we have never experienced before. It is like getting a little piece of Japan every single week and it is the highlight of my week! All of our friends come over and try the new snacks every week and they are so excited to see and taste the new goodies!

This is the second time I subscribe to Tokyo treat ! The service improved greatly and the products are always unique and interesting ! I’ve always loved to want to go to Japan and Tokyo Treat brings me a step closer to Tokyo :) the day we receive the box is really an interesting day all of the family , myself , my wife and 2 daughters part take in trying the exclusive products sent and we find it always quite the interesting experience ! I just got my November box today and I can’t wait for the girls to get home so we can try everything out ! Thank you Tokyo Treat !! :))

Heard about it through featured anime podcast I have been excited every since I placed my order such a cool way to experience Japan without being able to be there in person!
