Disappointed in the Direction Thrudark Has Taken
As someone who has spent a significant amount of money on Thrudark products—partly due to my father's ex-military background and my desire to support veterans—I’ve always respected the brand’s origins and mission. I even purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in part because of Thrudark’s involvement, wanting to support a company that stood for something more. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a steep decline in quality over the last couple of years. Prices have risen sharply, yet the products feel worse. A T-shirt I bought recently (same size, same style) fits completely differently than one from two years ago—now made in Portugal, the large feels more like a medium. Jumpers and jackets are inconsistent too, with medium feeling like large. It’s clear that manufacturing standards have slipped, despite claims of global production quality. What’s even more disappointing is the customer service experience when returning items—frustrating and far from the high standards you’d expect from a premium brand. Thrudark built its name on the credibility of elite Tier 1 units and figures like Nims Purja. I found and supported the brand because of that ethos, and it genuinely inspired me. But now, it feels like growth and profit have taken priority over quality and the customer. I want to keep supporting Thrudark. I love the style and what the brand once stood for. But right now, the trust and excitement I had are fading. Please return to the values that made Thrudark exceptional in the first place.
