For the past few years we have been dealing with Chloe Jewell. Chloe has been really approachable, responsive and has dealt with all our queries in a timely manner. Chloe now has a new portfolio and we have been passed to a new staff member. We are really sad that Chloe will no longer be our point of contact. We want to wish her well and want to say a huge thank you for the great service we have received from you - Thanks Chloe!!

Had the pleasure of being delegated Olivia Hughes as our lettings negotiator. She was a delight - through a very new and scary experience, she was dedicated, friendly, kind and considerate of our situation and never hesitated to go above and beyond for us. I am sure that whoever has the pleasure of working with Olivia will also find her to be an exemplary person with massive professional talent. We cannot thank her highly enough.

Id like to personally thank Amanda Oharte from the Altrincham Branch. She consistently maintains smooth communication between landlord and tenant. All issues and queries are dealt with professionally and efficiently. Being a tenant of Thornley groves for many years, I have had multiple property managers, however since having Amanda as my properly manager it's given me a sense of security as I feel comfortable to discuss any issues and know she will do everything she possibly can to help.

Extremely bad communication with new landlord of a property that was managed by Thornley Groves - worst experience ever.

Honestly the best estate agents we’ve ever had, and this is our sixth move. Claire Blackham is efficient, reliable, and very pleasant to communicate with. All the team, Chris and Jamie likewise. No other agents have come anywhere near their quality of service. There is no b%#!%t! Well done!

Ali from their Chester office has always been on hand to help look after our tennancy for which we're very grateful. Issues of any size/duration to fix are either resolved/currently being resolved by a lovely team of Ali's key contacts we've got to know a few of and feel very comfortable with. Lovely apartment we're proud to rent and help look after for our landlady - who we also owe our thanks to!

My kitchen hob needed a replacement and I raised my concern on Fixflo as I should. Later I rang Amanda (Thornley Groves, Sale Branch) to check the issue and she dealt it with care and got it resolved with a very short notice considering the situation. Really appreciate Amanda's help and support :)

Clare and her team did a marvellous job in handling what turned out to be a long and complex sale process. - much more so than either of us would have envisaged at the start. Clare knew just how to manage the difficult situations based on her wealth of experience. Moreover, she was a delight to work with, always available with updates, and adept at keeping me calm! I have no hesitation in recommending her and her team.

It can be very difficult choosing an Estate Agent to pursue your objectives but I can honestly say that all the chaps (male & female) at the Altrincham office really went out of their way in the efforts to secure a sale of a difficult property. No illusion about the task but very pleasantly surprised by the effort and enthusiasm of both the letting and the sales team. Thoroughly professional. Guess what? You get what you pay for...

Everyone I know who has been a tenant in a Thornley Groves property has had a bad experience and talks about how they are not fit to be letting agents. Thornley Groves have consistently been bad estate agents. Through my 5 years of living in a Thornley Groves property their staff struggled with basic processes such as writing tenancy agreements in a timely period, communicating with the landlord and giving notice about the end of the tenancy. They intimidated my former flatmate into leaving the property. Every time we interacted with them, they have somehow made mistakes that have left us angry and often out a significant amount of money and or time. I don't know if staff are well intentioned but lack training. Their staff are hard to reach, and are very rude if you can reach them. Repeat experiences of them shouting at customers in the office.

If I could give minus stars I would. I let my property with Altrincham branch for many years whilst having to work away. They have taken a lot of money off me for doing so. Unbeknown to me they went against my wishes and let the last tenants have animals and also they had several children. This is a small flat. I came back to so many issues, basically the place was trashed and Thornley Groves would not take any responsibility and because the Lettings person had disappeared there was no accountability. They even damaged the outside walls! And the smell will never leave me. I’m a lot out of pocket and that property will never be the same.Thank goodness for Gascoigne Halman. Wished I’d used them all those years ago, what a difference! Please don’t make my mistake and let your property with Thornley Groves Altrincham. UPDATE: THEY IMMEDIATELY REPLIED TO MY REVIEW TO SAY EMAIL THEM AT COMPLAINTS,LIKE THEY DIDN'T KNOW ME AND THAT I HAD COMPLAINED TILL I WAS BLUE IN THE FACE! SERIOUSLY BAD COMPANY (ALTRINCHAM) AVOID!

Great support offered by all staff, got us into our flat quickly and efficiently

Olivia was fantastic! She showed us our dream flat and let us stay for as long as possible and encouraged conversation around the amenities and and liveability of the flat. She guided us through the whole application process and kept us updated. We felt really looked after with Thornley Groves.

For the last ten yearsThornley Groves Manchester have been our property agents and we have had several individual property managers over that period.They have ranged from average to good but our present property manager Shannon Upton is outstanding. She responds to queries qickly and effectively.She is also pro active in dealing with the numerous problems that arise in a residential property business and is knowledgable in respect of the portfolio that.that we have. My property manager Chloe Jewell is fantastic. She is always willing to help and understands not just the tenant's needs but the landlord's too.

I have just sold a property and have to say Thornley Groves in Monton have bern brilliant. Very responsive to messages. I would like to mention in particular Jonny Arrowsmith who has been superb to deal with. I would highly recommend his services for any property sales.

Thornley Groves has failed to maintain its standards as it has expanded it's business. We had a serious maintenance issue that was so badly handled, we felt we had to report them to the property ombudsman. We were forced out of the property, having been left with no faith in the lettings company and fearing reprisals for raising concerns over their professionalism. We were treated with contempt, lied to and made to feel completely powerless. The complaints process was a joke, this company lacks accountability and people should think twice before using their services.

Having worked for Thornley Groves as a contractor, I always find them to be very professional and responsive. Fixlfo enables quick and easy communication between tenants, property managers and ourselves. We are often instructed by Emma Slabbert who is very professional and responsive. The whole Property Management team are considerate and quick to help to enable any necessary repairs to move forwards.
