Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up.
Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws.
Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.
I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. I had recently switched from Three to Talk mobile, I can not emphasis enough that I have had a great experience with the service so far. The internet service on its own was my biggest problem with Three. However, this switch has predominantly fixed this problem. Talk mobile’s internet service is spectacular. In addition, it’s great pricing variables were also an attraction. Hence, quality service combined with competitive prices made it an easy choice for me.
I must recommend Talk home mobile to every one for international calls and international roaming. They have great and professioanl customer services .
I was facing problems while using the sim card in Turkey , but Mr.Ismail helped me out catching the available network here .

I talked with one of your customer service member Hamim. He was very friendly, and helpful, he guided me very well about discounted international calls. It was a great experience.
I’ve been using this company for so many years but for the past few years it has been providing a terrible internet service, you don’t get to you what you top up because the internet connection is non existent. It works for 10min then it goes down again for several hours. Very poor quality internet service. I do not recommend it!
The worst mobile provider there is - don't use them or trust them.
They kept advertising on their website £5 for 500 minutes for several days so one day i got a sim and decided to join them. Its not easy, to buy a bundle you have to join/register first so i did unwillingly. I put my sim card in, but it doesnt work in all phones. Luckily i tried in a different phone and it worked, i got a signal.
Then, when i tried to get the £5 for 500 minutes bundle, once you join them, its not there anymore, they show you one thing and try to sell you another thing. So they first showed me £5 for 500 minutes but upon creating an account and logging in they try to quickly charge you £10 for 500 minutes.
Update: 17/10/2022:
I chatted with customer service, they dont seem to know even whats on their website, so i took a screenshot and showed them, after looking into it they said the £5 for 500 minutes isn't for the SIM, it goes into the app. So, i had to download the app, this is not mentioned on the website; the sim is for topping up with cash only (not bundles).
The main problem is takes ages to connect with the app and a lot of the times it does not connect. Basically, they have put their calling cards into the app as bundles. So what you are actually doing using their calling cards as an app and bundle. I know this from several calling cards as they have lot of connection issues.
Talkhome mobile is not like other networks such as Vectone, Lyca or Lebara where you insert the sim, get a bundle and call directly using the sim. With talkhome after downloading the app and starting to use the bundle is the connection problem. Most of the time it won't connect it only connects some time and after a few minutes into the call it disconnects, then if you re-dial you cant connect again for long time.
Their website is attractive to sell you their bundles, but thats it - I will never use talkhome mobile again!
