Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up.
Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws.
Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.
I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. A Global Nomad's Rollicking Rendezvous with Talk Home Mobile
Hello, fellow tech voyagers!
Once upon a time, I found myself entangled in the labyrinth that was Virgin Media. Despite their attempts to push me into the all-too-familiar arms of O2, I quickly realized O2 was about as stimulating as flat soda. In the spirit of global adventurers everywhere, I chose to embrace the unknown and embarked on a thrilling quest into the world of telecommunications.
In this techno-odyssey, I hopped aboard the promising ship known as Talk Home Mobile, waving a nonchalant adieu to O2. The thrill was akin to finding a hidden door in a mystery novel.
Talk Home Mobile rolled out the red carpet for me - lightning-fast speeds (shout out to EE, the 'Usain Bolt' of networks), excellent value for the price, and free EU roaming! It was like being in a tech utopia! And the cherry on top? No nasty speed restrictions, ensuring your binge-watching sessions go uninterrupted.
The first month had a bonus welcome like the surprise prize in a cereal box! And if you wish to tweak your plan mid-month, they nod and say, "No sweat!" Yet, the journey wasn't all smooth sailing. The number porting process proved as tricky as assembling flat-pack furniture with missing instructions.
But, fear not, for every problem, there was their customer service. They tackled my issues with the grace of an Olympic gymnast. Yes, we had a bit of a kerfuffle with the 5G data settings, it would have been nicer if it was automated, but it was manual. However, customer service to the rescue again, sending over a profile as swiftly as an express delivery.
Of course, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. They did ask for my detailed feedback via email (which I provided with the ardour of a poet). But alas, it seems to have entered a digital Bermuda Triangle. I'm still hoping they are crafting a well-considered response.
Now, I'm filled with the wide-eyed enthusiasm of a new explorer, eager to see where my journey with Talk Home Mobile will lead. Like every savvy traveller, I pack a pinch of scepticism along with my excitement. So here's a tip of the hat to Talk Home Mobile - keep up the good work, but don't forget to pamper us, your devoted clientele.
Cheerio, and remember, like the perfect cup of coffee, the right mobile service is waiting for you to discover it.

Too many fake reviews on here to prop up the trustpilot rating. It does not take a genius to see that. Comments look like they were written by a chatbot gpt and have only ever left 1 review. Just wait for someone to respond to this review trying to deny it lol
Just joined Home Talk Mobile. Received my sim and downloaded the app, so I could view my plan details. However, I could not see my plan details so called Home Talk customer service and spoke to Ahmed, who guided me to install the correct app as I downloaded the home version instead of the mobile version. He also advised and resolved other concerns I had too. My call was answered quickly and dealt in a friendly professional manner by Ahmed.
Had many questions I wanted answered so used the Home Talk chat line. Spoke to Joey who was patient and clearly answered my questions.
I will order a new SIM card in the hope that all correspondence will be answered as politely and quickly as my initial experience. Thank you for your help Joey.
My and my wife joined talk Home Mobile it's opening offer 0.01p for six months Unlimited call unlimited text and 3GB.Talk Home Mobile run through EE network.
Network connection very cleary and it's fast and WiFi calling facility also 5G network.
I had data connection issued which Mr Ahmad resolved at last.
He listened and helped
tremendous and his deep knowledge.
He responded quickly and my data issued now resolved.
I hope I will not get this issue when I go for shopping.
Mr Ahmad deserves five stars and I am most thankful for his help.
I recommend to grab talk home Mobile which is very very cheap.
Customer service always helpful.

I genuinely don't like leaving bad reviews. However when a company is this bad, one has no option.
My issue is Port in of my old number, sooner this countess times before, worked without issues.
14th June 2023 my number was supposed to be transferred. Part way during the 14th both numbers stoped, which is normal.
What is not normal is the port was not successful at end of day 6pm kept turning phone off every hour still no joy.. next day still nothing, called customer service at 930am and again 430pm as it was not sorted. Told the same copy and paste nonsense... We are working very hard etc and should work very soon.
What sort of cowboy operation are these guys running.
My number seems to be in a void.
UPADE 1: as of 20th June 23, my phone number still has not been transferred, so 6 days now without my number.
They tried to take my review down too!?
Called customer service 3 times overs the days, told "our technical team are working on it".
Simply not good enough. I am afraid I may loose the number, which is linked to so many services, opens up a world of headache.
This review will remain regardless of what happens as this is totally unacceptable.
UPDATE 2: 26 JUNE 23.
The Number Port in still has not been resolved. That's 16 days and counting
The company is quick to respond on here without any substance. Don't say sorry just do your job correctly and you will not have to say sorry.
I ask you is 16 days reasonable?

UPDATE 3... My number has now been successfully ported over on 28 June 23. After 18 days.
I had a problem with regards to my contract so I called in to inform them regarding my situation. Ahmed answered and he helped me a lot. I am very pleased.
Port in not working, can't get my original number working, poor commutations to what is happening.
I requested a port in on my new sim, due to be done 13th June 2003, but hasn't happened, my original phone number is in limbo, won't ring.
when will this be done? i need my original number back, if talk home can't do it let me know, either way i need to know asap
Poor commutations to the customer, all i get is the port will be done soon! zero information why a next day port is now on its 3rd day trying to be done...
After posting this, the port in was done in 30mins !
