Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

Having problems with my phone, turns out I was topping up the wrong thing. Brilliant customer service from Adam, who fixed everything for me.

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

Information I could easily understand.

Being a member of the bus pass gang for a number of years now, anything technical doesn’t always come easy, today I hit lucky. A Talk home agent, (Tom) responded within one minute of contact. Talked me through my new sim setup in no more than three minutes. Highly impressed.

Avoid..

Avoid... Avoid...Avoid...Avoid... Avoid One of the worst mobile network provider, with the worst customer service. You cannot use the internet while making or receiving a call.. Volte calling i believe other service providers call it. Reception is not very qood as calls drop out or do not connect at times. When i ring the customer services number, it makes one beep and i cannot get through, like number does not exsist. Have to call in persistently and then only sometimes can get through.

Being deaf & unable to use mobiles for spoken conversation I have found Talk Home Mobile has satisfied all my needs. It was easy to set up & everything was explained in clear language, Being able to use live chat is amazing & I am now beginning to feel like a real person. Thank you Talk Home.

Peter was very helpful!

Peter helped my sort out many details of cancelling my contract. It wasn't easy. Peter was extremely helpful, though in general I have not had a smooth experience with Talk Home. Email service is very slow, and the chat, in my opinion should be a 24/7 service, instead of just cutting out for many hours with a "we are presently offline" message. I was promised that my English SIM would work in Indonesia. It did not connect to the local provider. I was given false information before I left by someone else. This caused major problems and I was forced to change my provider.

Thank you for allowing me to talk to a person.

My SIM was posted to the wrong address (it is possible this was my mistake when ordering). Called helpline and spoke with an actual person (I was very surprised I wasn’t just connected to a bot) Hassaan who listed to my concerns, verified my order details, cancelled the posted SIM and was to arrange the issue of a replacement SIM. Very pleased with this contact and am hoping that everything goes smoothly hereafter. Thank you

Talk Home mobile I don't recommend for CAB Drivers

Talk Home mobile part of EE. It's rubbish, when Im on the phone call internet doesn't work. They don't have VoLTE service. For MiniCab driver this talk home network not suitable. I don't recommend for PCO driver. You can't get any job requests without internet and satellite navigation also. Talk Home mobile customer service and other performers are good. If you think internet not important then go for it. Thanks
