Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up.
Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws.
Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.
I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. So far my experience is mixed. I got a good deal on the 3 sims I brought so happy there. I've had to contact them a few times and I've not got the result I'm looking for as yet, 2 months in.
1. My app is showing one number twice. I'm told it's only registered once, but they've never actually removed one of the numbers
2. I can't see and call/text history now for any of the 3 sims. I emailed and got NO reply. I've been on chat and they say they've escalated it but got no reply. One sim is very important that I can see call/text history in particular.
Aftersales are below standard at the moment and it's about how good aftersales are for me, so I may need to move if they can't help.

They have now sorted 1 of the 2 issues I have. Still shows my number twice, but i don't seems to be paying twice for the same number as far as I can see, so I can get past this issue
I recently enrolled with them and I had found their customer service reliable.
I had some transparency issues as the account page goes blank now and then, so you have no clue of what really goes on. I have been charged 3 times for the March roll on contract and they don't use the credit you have to pay for this from your credit on your mobile but take money from credit card. Scammers and they shouldn't be allowed to operate.I will cancel my account asap.Avoid at all cost!

Ordered a sim and week ago, the only way I seem to be able to get any contact is by their on-line text system, hang on the phone and they eventually cut you off, no reply to emails.
The person on the text system did not like or understand my question so they never came back, after a brief conversation we had.
I did see a number of very poor reviews but thought it still was worth a try, sadly I was wrong, try them if you wish, but beware customer service have no consideration for you.
Since the reply from Talkhome, I have eventually had a sim card, but the quality of the audio is edgy and found it difficult to understand people, signal strength was 3 bars on my phone.
After a few days I decided to cancel, so I sent an email requesting this on day 13 from my initial payment.
Within 30 minutes I had a call from a chap called Tim who told me just to use 4G, where I am there is only 4G so I confirmed my cancellation which he attended to, switched off the sim card and said he had organise a refund.
To date no refund! but at least 3 calls requesting a 5 star review.
White my experience I have had, my initial review stands, now I am with Labara cheaper, no problems with sim delivery, excellent customer service, which all I had expected.
Joined Talk Home because I didn't want to spend much, however I found to my cost that I was charged significantly more than the £5 monthly charge.
Customer service left a lot to be desired so am moving to another provider.
