Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

Having problems with my phone, turns out I was topping up the wrong thing. Brilliant customer service from Adam, who fixed everything for me.

Adam's support was great

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

THAT IS NOT UNLIMITED

adjective: unlimited 1. not limited or restricted in terms of number, quantity, or extent. "offshore reserves of gas and oil are not unlimited" Talk homes definition: The following are the limits in place for all “Unlimited” products available on the Talk Home Mobile website: Data: 200 GB Minutes: 3,000 SMS: 3,000 Clearly this is misleading marketing as the definition of unlimited is limitless, not limited to no restriction. Talk home should just replace all the unlimited minutes with 3,000 same with SMS and unlimited data to 200 GB I am not at all pleased with this, lyca mobile, labora, voxy, smarty don't do this they understand the meaning of unlimited means unlimited

Excellent Customer Support

This is the first time I left comments on Trustpilot. I had a great experience with the customer service team. When I didn’t receive any SMS as well as OTP from Talk Home after I ported in to them. Tried the live chat and the representative Adam helped me to sort it out. Adam escalated the issue to the relevant team after he tried some methods but still not resolve the issue. I really appreciated that about an hour later he proactively reached out to me via WhatsApp, since I wasn’t receiving any SMS from Talk Home. Really appreciate with his helpful manner

Brilliant Mobile Company

Very impressed with these guys. You basically get 'EE' without paying their extortionate prices - and with a much better, more stable app. Keep up the great work guys, especially Tom in Customer Service who is doing a fantastic job. Great tariffs, great pricing, and excellent support. What's not to like...? 🙂

Top up issue resolved

I joined talk home 2 months ago. I misunderstood the option regarding top up, and thought future payments will be deducted from the mobile credit. Then talk to the advisor and they refund the half amount. I appreciate his gesture of goodwill.

Customer service were so helpful in…

Customer service were so helpful in firstly (Sarah) interim fix whilst investigations went on to resolve permanently Tom was very reassuring and I was able to contact him for updates as to where the escalation was. I was anxious and nervous ( first time changing to new provider and not being very technically minded) and was supported throughout. The situation was resolved and moving forward I know that they will give me any help I need. First class service

Dreadful company

Dreadful company. Utterly incompetent. Got SIM ok in 3 days. Requested port in of number for the next day online. Didn't happen. Phoned up. Awful VOIP call quality to their help desk. Assured me it would happen the next working day. However it didn't. Can't even manage a simple task. They then had the cheek to blame me and say I had cancelled the request. This wasn't true. This is such a simple task on other networks. This then lead me to be billed another month by my existing provider. Director needs to give their staff a good talking to and manage their reputation better. Do not use this business. Update: they say it is an automated process. It is. My request was not actioned on the selected date. It was then marked deleted. I spoke with them on the phone and raised a new port request. This also didn't happen. All details were correct. Their porting system is unreliable and I expect more customers will make similar findings over time.

Here is an update on my problem

Here is an update. I joined on around April the 10 th nearly after a month I've had a reply from sid so thànks sid for accepting that it was not up to the standard it should be.IAM leaving in 30 minutes to go. To someone else, it's a shame as I thought right they use EE so they are going to be the best but for some reason, I can only use 2 g although my phone 4g if I walk half a mile down the road I get a signal so that's white I did on Thursday because I could not get through to the Drs I had to walk down the rd a bit not far but out of the house and garden so I will be leaving on the 3 of may just short of a month thanks for admitting that Ur service is not the best. But now it's too late as I had to leave to make sure I have a signal to be able to call at least Thanks for trying and hope u fix whatever is wrong with the service thanks again Andy
