I have been using SwitchboardFREE for the last 6 years, I have maintained a ‘local number’ for the area I work in albeit I moved the business to a different area code. I have recently made use of the additional services of having the ‘pocket receptionist’ pick up my overflow calls, this is extremely useful when I’m not able to answer my calls myself if I’m on the phone or out the office. If I need to speak to SwitchboardFREE I’ll either pick up the phone or use the live web chat which again works really well. The app is brilliant you can turn on and off different functions, more recently I like the automated service which recognises the caller and mentions them by name. In short really useful, good price, great app, no issues from me.

Simply fantastic service and platform
We have used SwitchboardFREE for the past 9 years to handle all our calls coming through to us. Never have we had to contact them due to a service issue. Their platform works perfectly for our needs and allows us to open and close numbers whenever we need to. We have found the costs charged are extremely competitive considering what we can do. Nothing is ever any trouble for the staff, we called them a few weeks ago because we had put the wrong message on our 0800 number, they changed and corrected in within minutes. Couldn't recommended them enough.

Great value for money and easy to use but needs bit more depth
Generally a good bit of software and great value for money, easy to use and is not flooded with unnecessary features unlike a lot of competitors. Customer service team is great, very quick response time and any bugs reported were generally fixed in 2-3 weeks. 4 Stars as just needs a tiny bit more depth, features I would like to see are multiple closing periods per day (to allow for lunch breaks) and flow chart style programming for the user to better direct calls through the IVR directory would also be nice as more expensive competitors offer this.

Something actually for free
Been using Switchboard FREE for many years and have a few numbers with them paid and free services, to be fair the system works as intended, i have never had any down time and the only times i have had to contact them the problems were answered instantly where we wanted local numbers and our location was not on thier list but added it for me within a few hours We used a provider previously but Switchboard FREE is set and forget and very simple to use

The whole set up is professional
The whole set up is professional. You do not just get a freephone number, but they can add features such as tailored intro message, call queue, call routing and even call selection for different departments, basically call options tailored to your business set up. love the service and the staff have always been helpful.
