What an appalling time I have had with Stay Sure. I take out a policy, I then phone to change the details, stay sure tell me the details mean that medical condition is excluded, Im fine to go on holiday, I then get a phone call 24 hrs later to tell me the details I was given are incorrect, I'm not covered and there is a £240 extra + admin fees. 2 days later I then get another call to say the underwriters have come back and cancelled the policy and can only have a 60% refund..I have raised a complaint, will NEVER use them again, I have used them for years.

I had recently had a hip replacement and needed 3 day insurance to travel to Paris on Eurostar. Staysure were amazing! They listened to me and understood that my Dr would have cleared me by week 6 before my travel date and granted me cover! They are sensible and understanding only asking me to update my consultant clearance on the Monday following my check up. I did try Holidaysafe who were not really helpful, likely following a script which was out of date! It's worth shopping around! I will always use Staysure as they actually listen and are reasonable.
