Reliable service. Easy to follow instructions when first setting up.
Not the best communication but good service and fast connection
The problem was that I am not tech savvy at all so had to wait for a friend to connect me , if an engineer had been here todo it it would have been 10 out of ten.

Fantastic. Installation day the engineers came late am but we wasn’t in as the appointment was booked for pm. However, they came back at the allotted time and had everything in place within an hour, leaving no mess. The guys were very courteous, efficient and helpful. Unfortunately there was no router on the day, and it was explained that Squirrel send the router after installing the main line. They explained clearly how to connect the router when it arrived. This was also explained in an email that the router would be delivered in 2 days, but it arrived the next morning. We’re currently getting in excess of 679 mbs on our phones so haven’t even checked the speed on our laptops! Purchased the 900 mbs speed with a guaranteed speed of 450 mbs, so we’re very happy. Highly recommend Squirrel and the 2 year contract deal we got

Easy transition from KC better package at less than half price.
After signing up as a customer in February I was told that additional work was needed to connect to my property. I was visited by an engineer in March who informed me of the work that was needed to get fibre hooked up to my property, including digging up the pavement and part of my property to bring the cable to the house. I was advised I would not need to be at home for this work.
Install was done very well by ryan who was very courteous and acted very proffesional router was an easy set up and speeds seem very good recommend
The good is I am getting the speeds as advertised, the bad is I still have to stay with my old service provider as my phone hasn't been switched over yet. When I signed up, it asks for your current provider, it couldn't find Origin Broadband, so they said I had to cancel my current service personally which I cannot do, as around 10 days after I signed, they sent me a text to ask who my old provider was so they could port my phone over. I need my phone for emergencies with family members, so I cannot cancel my Origin account until I get my digital landline through Squirrel, which could be another 2 weeks. So basically I am paying for 2 providers at the moment.
Thus far - a very smooth and stressless transition! After being with my previous provider for over 15 years, I felt a little aprehensive switching - I needn't have been at all! Easy setup, fast service and internet and cheaper monthly cost, not to mention that the switch was all managed by Squirrel...I couldn't be happier with my decision to "take the leap"!
The telephone transfer approach is all wrong in that the number transfer request is only submitted on the day of installation. Other providers I've used had it organised so the transfer occurred on the day the kit was installed, likewise for the router (which took 2 days to come). So, no internet for 2 days and for us, because the telephone transfer went wrong, 3 weeks paying for 2 internet services until the phone was transferred. Also, we had to chase Squirrel about the telephone transfer as they were not monitoring that the transfer request had not been actioned by the 'third party' who organise this and my current provider had not been advised about the need to transfer, hence continued to bill us. So, all in all a right mess-up for the transfer. Two stars given because they are cheap, and customer service seems good so far.

Struggle to get started online as the website wasn’t working very well. Installation was quick and efficient. Overall been good speeds are within reason. Only time will tell for reliability.

The Installation team arrived mid-morning on the day and explained to me what they had to do and what the best option would be, they were quick with the installation and left the place clean and tidy. The router came the following day as promised and I was up and running in no time I am quite happy with the service from Squirrel Internet.
