Just a bait & switch company. Quote you one price then charge you another. Bent up the bumper on my truck and didn't tell me. Quoted me a price of$ 225 then charge me $350. I wouldn't do business with them if my name was business.

Jeff Buckley did an outstanding job getting my car transferred from WA to CA. He was prompt and clear in his communication, he found a competitive price, and he was very polite. I highly recommend Sonic. Thank you, Jeff.

Tim was a fantastic help and got me everything I needed in a timely matter and was very accommodating and communicative.

I worked with Victory Wenzel on getting my vehicle moved from MN to FL. He was on top of it every day and while it was challenging to find a carrier during the New Years Holiday week, he pulled it off (yes, a bit more expensive, but totally get that) I am looking at using him to move it back to MN later this spring.

Luke was a great broker, stay in communication with me throughout the whole process. Car came the next day as mentioned. Just wish it was for the price that was offered the first time. Besides that everything went well.

On time pickup and seamless delivery.

Got my car that had transmission issues transported. Worked with Victory Winzel, he was prompt and answered all my questions. It would have been nice if they were straightforward about $450 being needed for drivers to pick it up versus the initial $200 that was offered before hand.

We had a good experience with Sonic and Daniel specifically. We moved my dad’s 1957 T-Bird from CA to AZ. It was close to the holidays so it was challenging finding a driver but Daniel stayed on top of it and his communication was excellent. The driver we ended up with was top notch!! Thank you, Sonic.

When I got the call that the driver had room for the car, everything went smoothly. Car arrived a day earlier than expected. Tim was a wonderful broker, communicating all the way.

Awful experience. I would not recommend this company even if they were the last auto transporter on the planet. Recently, they suckered me in with a highly competitive price of $950 to have a car shipped from New Jersey to Texas. I signed their contract agreeing to this deal. This was on Wednesday, December 18th. The deal was pick up Thursday, and drop off Sunday or Monday. Thursday morning, Sonic calls me and tells me our deal is off, because "The buyer of the other vehicles we were picking up with yours backed out." I say that's okay, I need the car before Christmas. Sonic came back with a new contract. They said $1700, and same pick up/ drop off windows. I was hesitant, but said as long as they could meet the drop off window, I was willing to do it. At this point, I should note that Sonic was NOT the company picking up my car. They subbed my job out to some other carrier company. In-between the $950 and $1700 deals, my job and personal information was listed on some sort of online bidding site for carrier companies. My phone was blowing up all Thursday morning with calls from people trying to pick up my car! Anyways, the driver failed to pick up my vehicle Thursday. The driver failed to pick up my vehicle Friday. No call from Sonic. I got ahold of the carrier company Saturday morning, and they informed me they would be picking up my car on MONDAY! My car was picked up in NJ on Monday (when it was supposed to be being dropped off...) and I was told then by Sonic and the carrier company it would be dropped off on Thursday the 26th. The driver calls me on Christmas day and asks if I can meet him between 11 PM and 1 AM that night at a Walmart because he is driving a hauler and doesn't want to come down my street. (Location was not a big deal, but I had been promised door to door service...) Being a gentleman and sympathetic to the driver not wanting to stop in Houston all night just to give me the car the next morning, I agreed to meet him in the middle of the night and even took him a Christmas gift. Between December 22nd and January 6th, I have called Sonic several times asking for a partial refund and/ or to speak with a manager. I was told three times that someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I called a fourth time and stated that this would be my last time calling before resorting to sharing my experience online. Again, I was told someone would call me back. 24 hours later, and here I am writing this post. I did not want it to come to this. However, no one called me back! More bait and switch, more negligence, and more poor customer service.

This is my second time using Sonic. As before, they provided, fast, courteous and professional service. Highly recommended!

The delivery of my vehicle was done professionally, on time, and as planned with the Sonic brokers, Tyler and Grace.

They were in constant communication with me and explained everything I needed to know. They were kind and my car was dropped off in great time and great condition.

Good experience overall. Car was picked up and delivered on time. Tess Rogers was great to work with to organize the transfer and answered all of my questions quickly. I will use Sonic again for my next car transfer.

Coordination was great. Car arrived before expected, which was great. Some language barrier with the driver but didn’t impact the delivery in any way.

The driver was very polite and courteous when he picked up my car in Florida and was 'on time' at the loading point. As promised, he delivered the car to me at a nearby truck stop and was removing my car from the vehicle trailer when I arrived. Very friendly and courteous.

Misleading Quotes and Unreliable Service I had a disappointing experience with Sonic auto transportation . They initially quoted me a lower price to transport my car, which seemed reasonable, but it was clearly just a tactic to get me to sign a contract. Once I signed, it became apparent they never intended to secure a driver at the quoted price. In the end, I was forced to pay nearly double the original quote to have my car transported. On top of that, the delivery was delayed by several days beyond the promised timeline. This broker’s approach feels unprofessional and unreliable. If you’re considering using their services, be prepared for unexpected costs and potential delays. Use them at your own discretion.

As I’m sure many can relate, shipping your car can be extremely stressful especially due to so many scammers out there. Tess was amazing and super attentive to both me and my father regarding getting my car safely shipped to its destination. Tess not only connected me with a dispatcher, but she also served as a great advocate when dealing with a more shady company. I would definitely ship my car with Sonic Auto again and ask for Tess!!

This is my 3rd time using Sonic auto transport for shipping vehicles cross country. They are responsive, fair pricing, delivery pickup-drop off on schedule, and cars have arrived perfectly without issues. I’ve had the pleasure of working with John Gardner each time and he is fantastic, answers all questions and follows up with you ensuring you have everything you need and after vehicle delivery to ensure you are satisfied.
