Excellent service

We sold our house in thornaby through smith and friends and Lindsey and Claire couldn't have been more helpful. We pretty much left it all up to them and They made the whole experience very pleasant and easy for us. We can't fault their communication and attention to detail and work ethic. We would highly recommend them for future house sales

Very stressful time with solicitors but…

Very stressful time with solicitors but with the help of Rachel who helped every step of the way kept us up to date with what was happening and advising what steps to take . Would not have got through it without her

Poor

Poor viewing, lack of and misinformation given re presence of CCTV and property access/shared access, poor handover of keys, no labels, no confirmation of security code or disablement of alarms when asked, poor service on entering the branch, no welcome, no greeting, blank faces, no congrats, inability to answer questions, provide information or niceties on key handover.

Wasn't happy with experience.

I did put a complaint forward through smith and friends complaints portal, so that explains everything. I appreciate the store manager, I think it was Richard, reached out to help the situation, but honestly, I'm not interested, I made my mind up that I won't use smith and friends again after the process had finished. To note, my experience is with the Darlington Branch.

Best estate agent in town

I’d tried a few estate agents in the past until I was recommended smith and friends, now I wouldn’t recommend any other estate agent, very helpful and communicative throughout the sale of my house and the purchase of my new house. 1st class service, well worth the money.
