I found this company professional, efficient and helpful. I asked them to find tenants for a house after which I would then manage the tenancy. This was accomplished within my timescale and any query I had always received a prompt response. I would certainly recommend this Company to any landlord .

Just had a viewing today of a flat with Poppy. She was very lovely and helpful. She answered all our questions and was very open and honest about any faults in the property which was greatly appreciated. Itβs been really easy getting in touch with the staff at Smart Estate and they are all very nice and professional.
Right from my househunting this summer to finding a property, and now to living in one, Smart has been a good partner. Of course, I did come across other agents while viewing houses, but Poppy really set herself apart with her warmth, empathy, intelligence, promptness, and helpfulness. Together with Kay, the two make for great estate agents!

I recently needed to find new tenants for my property and decided to use Smart instead of the agents I'd used before. From my very first phone call with them, they were proactive and efficient, as well as being markedly cheaper than my last agent. They listed the property immediately and found, vetted and signed up tenants within a week, whilst keeping in touch with me throughout the whole process - which was a refreshing change from other agents I've used. Altogether a first class service and I'd highly recommend Smart Exeter to anyone with a property to let who wants a reliable, efficient agency.

This property agent used to be very good, charging market beating rates and providing excellent service. However, this has changed in the last year or so. I am shuffled between employees who do not have the information to respond to queries I have. Questions are not answered and in many cases emails simply forgotten without response. When I point out these issues I am met with defensiveness rather than an apology. To give an example of further misorganisation, I was surprised to recieve an email sent in mistake congragulating me on finding new tenants when my existing tenants were happily staying in the middle of their lease. Though I have had my property managed for several years with them and will be seeking another agent as they are longer worthwhile. Edit: I have read the other reviews and do not deal with Charlie or Lisa, perhaps they are better agents.

SMART were the agents for the house we were buying and were constantly in contact and had great knowledge of the full chain. Quick responses to all emails and always available on the phone.

We couldnβt recommend SMART enough! They have been amazing through our (very long!) selling process. Lisa and Mitch worked so hard to continually push our property and made sure we were kept in the loop at all times. There was no silly question we could not ask them, they have been amazing and so helpful. We had previously used 3 other estate agents and not one of them did what SMART has! They have been superb and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys!

We had a great experience with Smart. Our contact, Emily, was, prompt, professional and enthusiastic, to the point (since we are 300 miles away) she went to the property and WhatsAp'd it to show us. Very impressed. Ultimately our plans changed and we didn't take the property, but based on the service level, would highly recommend and would go back to SMART if/when rental accommodation is required.
