**Update** Customer service rep called and apologised for the experience and advised they would be handling the issue with the installer. Whilst I had a poor experience with this installer, this is by no means a reflection on the quality of the work or the experience of the office team I've spoken with. Whilst it still angers me that it occured, the company has handled it in the best way that they can. As such I've changed it from 1 start to 3 stars. **End update** Today we had the installation team come and reinstall our system after our renovations. All was going well untill one of the workers decided it was a good idea to urinate up against the house. I'm actually lost for words. Once called out on it he washed it off with a hose. Which he only did because he got caught because there was a security camera pointed directly down at the spot he decided to go. But this is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. We have a toddler who would know better and ASK to use the toilet like a normal human being or go to a public rest room if he wasn't comfortable asking to use one in the house. Yes he was apologic once my wife called him out but this doesn't take away that this should not happen. If he wants to piss on the walls at his own home then fine but to do it at someone else's home is disgusting and shameful. I expect this to be lodged as a formal complaint and appropriate action taken.

From start to finish was an easy process with great customer service - about a 3 week turnaround. From door salesman-salesman to installation. Could not fault them. Now to start saving money on our power bill 😀 Would definitely recommend to anyone looking at getting Solar in the future.

Battery has not fully charged since day one and we have been waiting for months for a replacement part. Technician has also cancelled two weeks in row. Money that we budgeted for our battery now goes to Ergon and we have two bills to deal with.
Kerry came out to see me and explain to me about the solar battery. Kerry showed how I could benefit from a battery.Not once did I feel pressured nor made feel stupid if I didn't understand something. Kerry is very knowledgeable with the products. Three days later I need assistance for a new hot water system ,I contacted Kerry within a few hours she had everything organised for the following day for the install. All done via phone calls on her day off, Ive also had follow up calls as well.Nothing was a problem Kerry and her team I can not thank you enough.
Finally SmartEnergy have fixed my problem. I now have a battery which works when the grid is down and still charges. Thanks to smart energy and to Jack who did the work. He also explained how everything works, which is what I didn't get with the original installers
Getting as off grid as we can is important to us so installing a battery and heat pump were key motivators in getting us there. As we are older cost effectiveness was very important. Not having to part with a large cash amount and being able to pay fortnightly without too much of a premium were key factors.

My experience with Smart Energy started well straight away with the consultant simplifying and educating me in solar energy, the equipment, the contracted installer and the installment cost over 5 years. I was at work when everything was installed but met the tradesman just before he departed the job. He explained quite a bit to me so was happy with his work. They say the quality of installation is the No. 1 priority. Next is quality brand equipment. I got both. Up and running savings - well last year's summer quarter was $280. This year's $50. A great decision to get solar. Educate yourself on solar whether books, articles or YouTube channel's. It helps in decision making.
It was great communication. The system works really well. I ended up putting a battery on the top. I get no bills at all and the electricity company? Owes me money. One of the best things I've done
