Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.

This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
It’s mostly great but ……
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

Customer service is top notch, I had some issues with the flushing but Julie came to the rescue over a whatsapp call. Highly recommend Skuma!!

Hot water for baby bottles in seconds!
As a new parent, having instant warm water is such a blessing. Middle of the-night feedings are so much easier now.

Absolutely brilliant and…can’t recommend it enough
Got the machine about 3 months ago and thought I’d wait a little while before leaving a review so as to give genuine feedback. Firstly I had been using a Zero water filter for a few years (with no complaints) and had thought it abut time to go to the next level of filtration. The machine arrived as expected and was well packaged. The instructions for assembly were clear and easy to follow and the machine was set up in no time with no problems at all. The water is clean, fresh and readily available with every touch of the button. We use the electrolytes infusions which replace the magnesium, potassium and sodium. This gives it a crispier taste which is nice and refreshing. I could give the Sküma Water 10 stars and it still wouldn’t be enough.

IS THIS A SCAM
IS THIS A SCAM? Paid £369 on 19/05/2025 with the promise of next day delivery. It is now 28/05/2025 and I still haven’t received my water filter, nor have I had updates from Skuma. I’ve had a few scam emails and when I contact Skuma directly I’m just told they’ll raise my concern, then I don’t hear anything. No offers of compensation, no refund, no delivery date. Absolutely fuming.

Converted me from tap water forever!
I have had my Skuma for a month now and I always drank tap water before, but genuinely I can now taste the difference so clearly. The Skuma not only looks great on our countertop but the water is so pure and tastes amazing. The mineral boosts are perfect as someone who trains, I know I am properly hydrating and drinking more after getting this!

I've had this for a bit more than a year now and never used the hot water as I have a quooker tap as well. I've tried it yesterday for my tea and the water quality is really second to none, honestly pleased with the purchase
