Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk
Sküma Water is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.
This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

Overall very happy with the product (finish, taste of water), the concept of infusion and the support from the team. Having the latest generation, i'm happy with the build quality. Some remaining (small) issues : i can't get nothing but steam if i select temperature above 85C, also thanks to london super hard water you definitively need to empty the waste water once or twice a day (if you like big 500ml teas).

I wanted filtered water without disposing filter every 4 weeks. I have got it now! Plus, I do not need to boil water to make tea. Plus, I have choice between water with or without minerals. Easy do use. Maybe on the beginning you can be confused, how long it takes for first time to flush. Customer service available on WhatsApp. As a 2 weeks user I can recommend that product.

Excellent Product, I would highly recommended this over other systems. Very easy installation, efficient filtration, and low maintenance.

Positives: - The quality of the filtered water is excellent. This is obviously the most important reason for everyone to buy it. - Very competitive price compared to similar products in the market. - Easy to install and set up, although we struggled to complete the flushing cycle a few times despite following the instructions step by step. Negatives: - If your water is hard, you’ll need to empty the waste reservoir quite frequently - The first 2 machines we received had some issues with the filter but the 3rd one is working fine, so far. Conclusion: Despite the issues our first 2 machines had, the quality of the water is worth the purchase and the hassle of having the machine replaced twice. Happy with it, now that it finally works properly.

It took us a lot of research to commit to a system we were happy with, I’m pleased to say that Skuma doesn’t disappoint. We had sooo many questions about various bits and I think the thing that impressed us most, was the customer service. Any questions, no matter what time it was sent, was answered fully especially by Alex! The design is compact, some good options with adding infusions and getting good tasting water at the end. We came across a few issues but again the WhatsApp messaging was pretty quick at sorting things out. This is such a responsive company and I hope they continue to grow and do well.

Great experience with the Sküma reverse osmosis water filtration system and great experience with the company who have excellent customer service. I've not seen another end-consumer focused RO system that comes close, however the product isn't perfect: 1. Haptics on the water release toggle are bad, it is often difficult to interrupt if you want water to stop flowing. 2. Use of plastic in the water release nozzle: This is a little unfortunate for a product billed as removing PFAs, I understand that it's difficult but really would be better if everything south of the filtration system were glass or metal. That being said If you're using the system just for cold water it's easy to fill up a glass bottle, I think it's only really an issue while using the hot water function. Had to include my gripes, but overall by far the best system I've seen available.

We have been using Zero Water filters for a few years but got fed up with the awful smell that appears in the water all too soon after replacing each canister and the expense of constantly changing filters. It is early days for our Skuma system but so far it produces excellent tasting water and the various infusions are fun to try.
