Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.

This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
It’s mostly great but ……
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

Everything has been considered!!
This has been an absolutely brilliant purchase! The setup of the Skuma device was ridiculously easy. When I was considering the purchase I was mostly working out if it would be easy enough to live with. I can honestly say that everything has been thought of. From the wastewater which works perfectly for plants to the fact that the machine will always have filtered water at the ready (and infused if desired) without the need to wait for it to filter once I hit the button to dispense my water. Next the hot water function... Game changer for convenient coffees, teas, broths etc. All in all, I would highly recommend Skuma! Well done to the team on designing such an awesome piece of kit!

Excellent water dispenser
Excellent water dispenser ! We have it for more than 6 months now and the water quality is always great ! We use it many times every day, to drink, to have hot water or demineralised water if you need it. The after sales service is also excellent. We had a small issue for a few days and they were very quick and helpful to sort the matter out. We missed Sküma so much during those days !!! Everything is easier with it, we save time and money compared to plastic bottles, we have quality hot water in second to make hot drinks and cook soups... It's really a must have if you have hard water (like anywhere in the UK...🙄). You can't be wrong with Sküma.

Must have!
After an initial stock problem leading to a longer delivery time and some teething problems with the hot water, the customer service and communication was great to get all the issues resolved and we have a perfect skuma. Replacing 3 items with 1 for everything is great and makes our lives easier!

Great product/business
A really great product my family went from being skeptical about how much they would use it to being the go to drink in the house for everyone. Really pleased with the purchase. Just tried the new alkaline infusion also which is great. Great communication from their customer service also. Spot on.

My best customer support experience
An industry standard for customer service. Ruya was the representative I spoke to and she was unbelievably helpful. My machine came with only a super filter and in place of what would be an infusion was just some bubble wrap. I emailed customer support and after a back and forth of 2 days between me and Ruya, the problem has been resolved and a hydration boost infusion is on its way. Sküma is most definitely a brand I can stay loyal too, the water itself is amazing, I cant imagine what it is gonna be like with added minerals.

Great purchase

Super investment
Fantastic piece of kit, especially like myself if the quality of your drinking water is poor. Sleek design and ease of use with superb little added bonuses like the instant hot water which makes a great coffee and the optional infusions which are great value of money. Early days but already feel like a great investment and I’m convinced the ‘ waste ‘ water has brought my shrub back to life.
