Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.

This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
It’s mostly great but ……
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

Best water filter on the market
Excellent product from Skuma. I've tried many water filters but Skuma has most certainly been the most convenient and the better quality of all the products I've tried. Further, when there is an issue of some description (incl general questions) their customer service team is fast to respond and clear with their communication. I'd certainly recommend Skuma, and I already have on numerous occasions.

Great water filter
We are enjoying our skuma water filter, the water tastes lovely, even our 3 year old is drinking more water. We did have some help from Alex to calibrate the hot water. It is fairly simple to set up and use. The customer services are helpful when you need them and are only an email away.

We love our Skuma water filter that…
We love our Skuma water filter that we’ve had for 3 months. It has even replaced the kettle and I know we’re filtering out the nasties from all our drinking and cooking water. The sleek design looks great on the counter top and is easy to set up. Has to be the best value, best looking reverse osmosis filter out there. The infusions last a month if everyone is drinking their 2 litres a day - longer if not!

Taste and quality of water is second to…
Taste and quality of water is second to none. Our family now drinks so much more and also no longer require the use of squash to make the water taste good. The infusions really make a difference to the flavour of coffee as well. Always feeling highly hydrated these days which is great!!!
