Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.
This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

I am happy user of SKÜMA water filter for over 1 year. I chosen it to get those benefits: 1. no waste, plastic bottles in my household 2. £40 filter to be change once a year 3. no need to use kettle anymore to brew my tea. 4. reverse osmosis takes all good and bad staff from the water and you can still drink it - to get good staff back you can subscribe water infusion which gets back what was taken- potassium, magnesium and calcium. 5. as tenancy holder it is better to do not play with water installation so portable form of that filter is perfect for me. By choosing it, think what priorities you have - mine are above. Sadly, I do experience issue with one of the sensor informing about emptying waste tank. After reporting there was quick response from customer service and they warned me about delay before I will get tracking number about incoming replacement. Till today, it is week how long I am waiting for new device to be sent.

Love my water system. The water tastes amazing and the machine is easy to use and maintain. No other water I drinks tastes as good! I feel good knowing we drink water clean filtered water with all the bad stuff filtered out. We had a few teething problems with the machine on set up but customer service was amazing and I even got a call from the CEO to make sure everything was ok!

The video shows step by step instructions, customer service are very quick to respond and help with any questions. Love the minerals makes the water even more beneficial to health and so excited for the new mineral pouches . Easy to use , no need to change filter until 12 months which is great 👍🏽 and saved buying bottles of water , hate plastic and so much cheaper ✔️

I just wanted to say how amazing Skuma’s customer service is! I highly recommend this water system, every home should have one. Water has never tasted so good, I love knowing that all the nasties have been taken out and my water is enhanced with the minerals. Thank you Skuma!!!

Please cancel our subscription we don’t want anything else . It’s a terrible system , the water tastes of plastic all the time no matter what we do .

An excellent device that is used all day by the whole family. We had a problem with our first unit and it was replaced pronto with no quibble. Customer service was excellent.
