Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk
Sküma Water is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.
This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

Great customer service, they upgraded my machine before coming and was delivered quickly. They have innovated and reduced monthly costs for their minerals. Very good company.

Great bit of kit, with all the news of sewage leaking into our rivers etc and the amount of fluoride and micro plastic in our tap water we all need a skuma in our homes and filter system that last 12 months.

I bought the Skuma just after Christmas 2023 when it had special offer price, and I have been using ever since. This machine gives me confidence that all the nasties are being filtered out. You can actually smell the chlorine in the unfiltered water tank when you refill. I wanted to eliminate the chlorine because I read it interferes with the gut microbiome. I love the fact that the whole machine is portable, you can take it anywhere. I live in rented accommodation, therefore unable to fix permanent filters to water pipes. I love the fact that the filter only needs changing once a year and is reasonably priced. I have a subscription for the minerals, I don't think it is good to drink without minerals for the long term. I don't think there is a way to remove the nasties without removing the minerals, so I guess this is the best way to replace the minerals. The water does taste better than straight tap water in London. I don't use the hot water function as I have a filter kettle for hot drinks. I hardly buy plastic bottled water now, so also happy I'm helping to reduce in a small way.

Received with complementary glassbottle, only been using for a few days so far. Unable to make a proper hot drink, as when you turn temp to max, get a little hot water but then starts to produce steam, so need to be careful if using this function.

I purchased the Skuma water machine in August, honestly, the best purchase I’ve made for my health. I run a business and my clients have all mentioned how ‘ clean’ the taste of the water is and absolutely zero chemical smell we are used to from tap water. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to elevate their health to the next level !

I have been using the Skuma water dispenser now for just over 3 months and apart from a couple of minor issues with the infusion dispenser which was sorted out very promptly by the Skuma support team, I couldn’t be more happier with this purchase. When using the mineral infusions the water tastes better than shop bought mineral water. The system is so easy to use and very user friendly. The variety of mineral infusions available is brilliant. The service from the Skuma team is excellent prompt.

So far so good. The set up video was very helpful and straightforward. I'm delighted I can now ditch the plastic bottles and all the other additional functions are game changing. Looks fab in the kitchen and water tastes great with the infusions. Thanks skuma and if your on the fence get one, they're worth it.

The only water filter I could find that actually filtered everything from my water! Infusions are great with the added electrolytes to keep me hydrated, love my water filter!
