I was obliged to wash my car at drop-off. It is not normal to clean the car by yourself. This should have been included in the rental price, which was high enough. I was almost to lose my flight because of this

I rented a car from Sicily by Car and returned it in perfect condition, on time, and fully refueled. Despite this, €80, 61 was withheld from my deposit without any explanation or documentation. I contacted customer service multiple times, but received no response at all. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. I was forced to escalate the issue through the European Consumer Centre and my bank. I do not recommend this company, and I advise others to be extremely cautious when renting from them.

Sicily by car est une agence de voleur, pour commencer 3h à attendre mais ce n’est pas grave ! Étant particulièrement minutieux j’ai éplucher le contrat avant d’arriver à l’agence, j’avais deux carte à mon nom une débit une crédit, la personne au guichet m’as dit de payer 200€ (sur ma caution) et 97€ de plus sur le prix de location car ma carte de crédit n’étais pas « conforme », je lui donne donc mon autre carte, carte de débit mais nan ça ne vas pas non plus , cette fois si parce que elle est « française » donc bloqué à l’aéroport 300€ à payer en plus et pourtant la caution a bien été retiré de mon compte il n’y as pas eu de problème pour cela ! Pour finir ! 1 mois et 3 semaines exactement pour être rembourser, évitez cette agence ce sont de véritable voleur !

They wanted 10 euros per day more for a named driver despite us taking full insurance that covered the cost. The first car we were given was absolutely filthy and the tyre warning light came on. On asking for them to check the manager was extremely rude making us wait forever, he then rudely escorted us back to the car and saw the light, kicked the tyres and said they looked OK and that if we drove a little way and jiggled the steering wheel it would go of as the tyres need to warm up! We refused and he said he could give us another car but this took forever and finally got another car which was also quite dirty and despite it stating no damage had lots of scratches and a cracked rear bumper. I took pictures and sent them to make sure I wasn't charged. The good news was the return was really easy, fast and lucky for us the grumpy old manager passed us to his colleague who was very polite and organised everything including a taxi back to the bus station. Many reviews talk about issues with the 200 euros deposit but we got it back immediately.

Noleggio auto , poche informazioni , nessuna spiegazione dell'auto , dei danni, non sono stato accompagnato ma ho dovuto trovarla da solo nel piazzale. Assistenza telefonica zero in lingua straniera. Assistenza wathsapp da incubo un Bot insistente ho dovuto bloccarlo. Al check in non mi hanno rilasciato nessun foglio cartaceo, la mail non è Arrivata con i documenti . Solo la riconsegna è stata veloce . Al telefono non hanno Risposto.

I'm using SbC since years, for business ans leisure travels and they always satisfy my expectations with reliable low mileage cars, and frequently they surprise me with free upgrades to better vehicles, which is always a pleasure. Really pleased of their overall service.

All went well until they mysteriously decided to keep my deposit. I have the certificate stating everything went well, but then somehow they disputed and mentioned they had wired the money. I'm still baffled how you can get away with such predatory commercial practices in 2025. Loved the island though. but don't get ever close to this company.

Noleggio l'auto a Milano per rientrare a Napoli dopo degenza ospedaliera di mia figlia. L'auto che avevo prenotato il giorno prima era stata cancellata. Accetto altra auto ma che prevede deposito cauzionale di 500 euro e non 300 come avevo previsto. Mi chiedono pagamento per contanti del nolo auto 226.00 euro (comprensivo di ogni assicurazione) e deposito cauzionale su bancomat di 500 euro. chech-in e chek-out regolari e perfetti. Dopo 7 gg mi viene riaccreditato 274 euro e non 500 euro per deposito cauzionale. Invio Pec e varie email a vari indirizzi, ma a tutt'oggi 9/07/25 non ho avuto un solo contatto. Per il resto ottimo tutto, a Milano difettano pero in cordialità e cortesia. Aggiornamento: risolto tutto con scuse il 18/7/25 con riaccredito del restante deposito. Tutto bene ciò che fornisce bene.
