Fantastic staff, food and organisation

Scenic provided a superb experience on the river cruise I was on. The service provided by the staff at all levels was excellent-friendly, knowledgeable and going out of the way to cater to any request or query. The management of the excursions, onboard entertainment and variety of activities was flawless. Onboard facilities and cleanliness were great. The food onboard was exceptional and I personally enjoyed the way that the menu reflected the regions we traveled through, including wine pairing. The evening briefing was always informative and interesting and any changes to schedule created by changes in the weather and river levels were made with as little inconvenience as possible. The only area that could have been improved was at the airport on arrival where the organisation of the greeting staff in charge of getting the groups to the coaches for transfer was very uncoordinated and information was scarce. Other than this small criticism I would recommend a Scenic cruise to anyone, I had a great experience and met people from around the world who were great companions too.

Really enjoyed our river cruise from Lyon to Lyon. As always it was well planned, well organised, and the crew are really friendly and helpful. The choice of food is excellent and plenty of it. The excursions are varied with excellent knowledgeable guides. The fact the cruises are all inclusive makes them real value for money. We have been travelling with Scenic since 2010 and love their River and Ocean Cruises and the Land Tours we have been on.

Scenic exceeded all my hopes and expectations.

We always enjoy our cruises with Scenic. The itinerary and excursions are always interesting, the meals on board are excellent and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Our cruise from Budapest to Nuremberg in August was no exception.

It was a beautiful cruise so well organised the crew were great, such good service friendly and happy. The trips were fantastic excellent guides lovely coaches always on time.

We had a wonderful time on board. The staff , food and organisation was all excellent. We always recommend Scenic to everyone as both our experiences have been perfect.

Great itinerary, good food and drinks, lovely ship, staff excellent and helpful. Have already booked another trip in 2025.

Almost all was great until the last day when we were left onboard until midday. No trips out were offered. We asked about whether there would be lunch on the last day and one of the very senior managers confirmed that there would be. But there was nothing at all If we had known we would have had a much bigger and later breakfast. A very disappointing end to what, hitherto, had been a good cruise. Thoughts ?? Chris Boyd

The whole experience was 5 star,excellent food,service and accommodation on our recent Rhone river cruise . Been with you before and will again.

Scenic provide top quality all-inclusive river cruises. We have traveled with them on several European river cruises. The accommodation and service have always been excellent. There is a choice of three excursions at each location - all included, no tips etc. You just relax and enjoy yourself.

Beautiful Bordeaux.Diamond.1/7/23. It is unfortunate that this was far from our best Scenic river cruise to date. The ships' lounge furniture was old and mismatched, and holes were visible in the carpets, with an upgrade really needed. The standard of food, mainly dinner, was not Scenic standard, from a below par chef, together with the wine offered, likewise. Table service was extremely slow, resulting in cold food when it did eventually arrive. First come/first served - basic procedures, were not observed. The cabin was as good as always, the cabin steward too. Unfortunately, the Enrich on 4 July classical concert, needed to be more towards the audience as to the music chosen, not being from really unknown composers. We could mention other items, but we feel that it might become too personal. Would we cruise with Scenic again ? YES !! and recommend Scenic to friends and family.

Very helpful to accommodate our requests

The process of discussing with a member of oyur staff was wonderful and the order was placed. The member of staff promised to make contact wih me by the end of July to discuss and confirm staying before the cruise and the possibility of changing the flight status. Today is the 10th September and i have had no notification from Scenic regarding flights or adding hotel etc before the flight. I woould have given 5 stars had this been taken care of as promised. I will now make contact ttoday to try to sort thisout but I should not have to chase up your staff that make promises

Scenic as always provides first class River Cruises . Every aspect of the booking proceedure was so easy and the staff I speak to in Manchester are so helpful and friendly . Once on board all crew were all helping to make sure that all guests were well looked after and made to feel special . Tours were always well organised and local guides excellent . The standard and choice of food was really first class .

Everything was wonderful, the crew were so friendly and attentive. Food and drinks, tours and entertainment all included were first class. Would not hesitate to use Scenic in the future. Our second River Cruise with Scenic and planning our next.

Everything was well organised, especially the excursions. Our cabin was adequate. Sadly though there was no storage for long dresses, skirts or trousers. The cruise director and her assistant were extremely good but unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. The chef spent his time parading around the dining room and appeared to have no idea about quality food. He purchased poor quality, commercially made desserts from outside instead of producing them on the ship. Although meals were well presented the ingredients were of low quality. We have been on many river cruises but this was our first cruise with Scenic. Perhaps we were just unlucky on this cruise, but high quality food is extremely important to us so we were extremely disappointed and are reluctant to consider Scenic again.

Most enjoyable. Excellent cruise director. Enjoyed use of electric bikes. Great itinerary.
