Sakura Mobile is very easy to set up via eSIM which is what I went for. We travelled a fair amount in Japan and I had good coverage everywhere we went. The price was fair (equivalent to about £25 per week for unlimited use). I wasn’t sure how to set up the eSIM at first so I emailed Sakura Mobile help center. They replied within an hour and walked me through the IOS recommended settings. 10/10. Will use again and would highly recommend.
Purchase and Installation, as well as usage in Japan went without problems.
All the processes was easy eve that i had an issue with the data not working because I did something wrong in the process, i contacted them through email and they were super fast and helpful and helped me to fix the issue, thanks for the amazing team and i highly recommend it

The service is great and will get you around Japan but at times it cuts off and switches me back to my T-moble. I disabled my other sim, so when the line cuts off I wait for it to come back. 10/10 will use again when I come back next year.
The information on the webpage was accurate. They also answered the mail I sent to them with questions and the customer service was great, because they catered to me with patience and with perfect English. They helped me set up with ease the SIM card.

I was so confused on how I was going to be able to use Internet while studying abroad in Japan for year. But I saw Sakura Mobile recommended on Reddit and checked it out, and I'm so glad I did! I chose a mobile wifi device, and two months into my studying abroad and it's been super convenient. It was very easy to pick up at Haneda Airport, and there was basically no set up needed. Definitely recommend!
I pad 8000 yen for Unlimited eSIM that doesn't work. Gives me zero Internet Meanwhile bought 3GB eSIM from competitor just 7 USD. Works perfectly. Update. Sakuramobile answered me with changes to APN that now works however it's already been two days

The process was really easy, went to the airport and picked up the e-sim. Had some slight initial issues with setting it up, as I needed internet for it to work. Otherwise the support team was helpful and the instructions were clear.
