Sakura Mobile is very easy to set up via eSIM which is what I went for. We travelled a fair amount in Japan and I had good coverage everywhere we went. The price was fair (equivalent to about £25 per week for unlimited use). I wasn’t sure how to set up the eSIM at first so I emailed Sakura Mobile help center. They replied within an hour and walked me through the IOS recommended settings. 10/10. Will use again and would highly recommend.
Purchase and Installation, as well as usage in Japan went without problems.
All the processes was easy eve that i had an issue with the data not working because I did something wrong in the process, i contacted them through email and they were super fast and helpful and helped me to fix the issue, thanks for the amazing team and i highly recommend it

simple and top service with very good quality
Although Sakura Mobile is on the expensive end for physical SIM cards for tourists, the service and Internet speed are great. I only lost signal once inside a building in the heart of Tokyo, but it seemed to be a common problem with other visitors as well. Definitely would recommend Sakura Mobile to users who need a physical SIM to stay connected.

The directions helped me....don't try to install the eSIM without following them. I winged it with a bad result. The service never failed me even in the mountain ridges north of Fukushima. I will use Sakura Mobile again on my next trip.
Sakura Mobile was very helpful in explaining their product and everything is in English, so it is a dream for anyone living in Japan. I have been living in Japan for 30 years but still struggle to deal with simple daily tasks, so I was so pleased to find Sakura Mobile to make it easy.
