Having taken the time to point out to…
I have in the past taken the time to point out to Rightmove that by displaying the date that a property comes onto the market that it benefits the "Buyer" and not the "Seller". Imo the longer it is [showing] that it is on the market then the "Buyer" thinks that they can knock [more] off of the price. By continuing with this policy and ignoring my point it proves that they are engineering sales in favour of the "Buyer" and not the "Seller" who is their customer ! Ok guys, just to prove a point; our property has been taken off of the market, which leaves me thinking that without your "Sellers" - you just don't have a business. Whilst I realise that one property will not make any difference, you might wish to show some business loyalty to those who are providing you with a living. Then we have this...... "Reply from Rightmove 2 hours ago Good afternoon John, Thank you for getting in contact. All residential property listings on Rightmove have an added on date to show users of the site the date the property came to market. I want to assure you that this isn't something we have done as preferential treatment, but so we can be transparent about the listing history of the property. Many thanks Rightmove" Thank you but why do [you] feel the need to be (so called) "transparent" when it is not a request of either a "Buyer or a Seller"? Buyers will make all the necessary checks on a property, as such, the way that you list properties are detrimental to the "Seller" which may incorrectly indicate something is wrong with a property which may not be the case. In light of that, a property concerned might not even get a viewing due to a perception that something is wrong. With respects your business is surely there to "Sell" and not create problems.
