Hosts beware. Do not list with this rental platform. The communication, follow through, and payment processes are horrible! It has been 2 weeks since we hosted a two-day rental and no one has responded to a single email that we have sent and we have had to involve the Better Business Bureau of the polarimo County California local licensing board. Do yourself a favor and read the Better Business Bureau and all reviews that aren't published by Red awning as they are biased. Unless you feel like being constantly managing right awning more than you would have managed your own platform or property. They are simply a high price listing service that expects to get cleaners through turno and maintenance through Thumbtack and will say they are a full service platform but they are no service platform. Please do your homework and believe the things you read

Lack of professionalism and knowledge

I had a very disappointing experience with RedAwning, specifically with a representative named Scott. He was not only unhelpful, but he also demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge. Instead of trying to help or offer solutions, he was dismissive throughout the call and ultimately hung up on me before I had even finished speaking. This behavior is completely unacceptable. It has caused me to lose all trust in RedAwning.

“This townhome was absolutely perfect…

“This townhome was absolutely perfect for UofI graduation in May! The location was 2 blocks from commencement making it ideal for every type of event associated with the university. The accommodations included every detail possible - tastefully decorated.”

Simply amazing.

Such beautiful accommodations. We actually got to meet some of the neighbors, incredible people. Skiing was fantastic and it was so nice to come back to such a warm and inviting cabin. The scenery is simply amazing and the views are perfect. I look forward to booking this cabin again. Thank you

The property is very nice and we were…

The property is very nice and we were two colleagues sharing. Each had its own bed arrangements but only one bath. This was not a problem. Very close to the convention center and the living area gave enough space for us to work and enjoy time off.

Very rude staff at check in

Very rude staff at the check in desk. During our stay we have numerous issues with the villa. There was a strong odor from the hot tub and the bbq didnt work. Also there was no hot water and the heaters were broken. We had a technician come look at it and they only could fix the heater problem. We sent out an email explaining the issues and Maria offered us 150 dollars credit!!! On a 6500 reservation. Save yourself the trouble and book with many other rentals in mammoth.

Awful

This management company (at least the branch that handles my particular rental property) was awful. Untimely responses. Pretty unreachable. Vague responses that aren't helpful and that aim to frustrate so that one will just eventually give up. I booked my rental through VRBO and all responses came from Red Awning. Every email communication came from both VRBO and Red Awning, making things very confusing. At the end of every Red Awning email is a link to an email for yet another management company. Almost all phone numbers on all communications are invalid numbers, which made me very concerned. It just seems like no one really cares about their clients or takes any ownership. Not willing to work with simple requests to modify reservations. And lastly, the check in process still involves a physical key that needs to be picked up from the management office. Which makes a late (and potentially dark) check in extremely difficult, especially when they aren't very responsive to begin with. Will not use again.

Cant get in

Drove from PA to Florida to check in.. cant get in without a door code. No email was received with a code. No one answers the property manager phone. Had to leave and get a hotel. Per the reply... The rental agreement was never sent, and no information was given that one was coming. So how would we know ?? Maybe they should not use 3rd party reservation systems and this could have been avoided. We are good to go now, except we lost a night paid rental, and had to incur more expenses for travel by getting a hotel for the night.

Never got check in information

Never got check in information Daughter I law passed away and wouldn't allow us to change one week. Checked in to property and explained. We have openings and wouldn't cost anything to change. You uncaring people wanted 700 Dollard more. Done never again
