Impossible to get hold of someone that knows what they're talking about

UK call center yes, but every call reaches 'reception' who have no visibility to your account, nor any technical or customer services capability. They promise to call back, never do. They promise to reply to emails, takes days. Router came misconfigured and locked so even when I connected to it via ethernet I was unable to manually setup the PPPoE settings. Waste of time, avoid. EDIT: I have shared my details with you, feel free to call and I'd gladly give my direct feedback as I've been trying to do for the last few days.

Connection mostly good and staff helpful

Line did go down for a few days and they did everything they could to help asap, Kevin was very helpful and we got credit back for the next month due to the inconvenience.

Patient and effective

Rebel persevered through a long, arduous process getting Openreach to install FTTP. Openreach would not allow me to initiate contact to arrange an appointment which is mind-numbingly short-sighted and unhelpful being a teacher that cannot take calls during the day. I can't imagine the mess I would be in with the undeserving, greedy broadband companies like Virgin Media, EE, Vodafone, BT, and their labyrinthian, unfair contract terms and predatory 'customer service'.

Superior Customer service

Great product with no issues . The only broadband service that offers a monthly rolling contract. Call answers quickly, unlike the big boys . Excellent Customer service . I highly recommend them

Next-level Support

Simplicity of onboarding and ongoing support is in a completely different league to Virgin, BT, Sky et al. Initial setup took 10 mins in total (even the OpenReach line installation was super quick) and the pods work like a dream. Service was faultless until there was a router problem and then emails to support are responded to within minutes and a new router was on the way same day. Not the cheapest service but definitely the best service I have experienced.

Real people, smooth experience

Everything seems to be pretty smooth. I expected to have an issue with set up and when I emailed Rebel they called me straight away. The support has been great because if you email you get a reply quickly and if you call you get to somebody who can help. The speed I chose seems to be good so far and I have a lot of devices so it’s better than I expected. I like the app and that I can just set a password for guests and generate a qr code for them. It’s good so far and I’m glad that I went with this company.

Very impressed

Goodby Virgin Media - goodbye bad service

I left Virgin Media because the broadband service was often interrupted and calling the company was a vile experience. I used to be with a similar small provider called Be There and missed their excellent customer service, so looked to move from Virgin. I am glad to report the broadband service with Rebel is seamless, solid and reliable. And almost as importantly all enquiries (not service related at all) have been answered lightening fast and always helpfully and friendly. I am very very impressed. I wanted good customer service and that is exactly what I got.

I was having massive problems with my…

I was having massive problems with my bank and some payments being sent bk to my bank. I was unaware of this and was stressed out. Luckily the customer service was excellent and very understanding and allowed me enough time to get it all sorted without cutting my internet off

Rock solid and fast responses to questions

Switched from BT a few weeks ago - really impressed so far - rock solid connection, great router as a standalone (much better than previous providers) and great customer support when I wanted to switch to bridge mode for a mesh network - near instant replies on a weekend and great comms when it came time to reboot the router. Really pleased that I switched!

Very useful WiFi booster

Although I live in a 2-bed flat, the WiFi was patchy in my spare room which I also use when working from home. I found Rebel and the booster service they offer with the 2 nodes at a really reasonable price. I’ve been using it for over a month and haven’t had my WiFi drop at all. Great service.

Rock solid Rebel.

Finally left Virgin after weeks at a time with poor connection and compensation that never came. They desperately tried to keep me and even offered me more than what Rebel offer for less money but I was just sick of them. Been with Rebel a few weeks now and so far so good. If I call them they answer rather than speaking to a robot for 20 minutes. Service is rock solid and all speed tests are blindingly quick. The supplied router is pretty slick and the software behind it seems to be great for me as a bit of a nerd and allows me to turn off my kids devices at bedtime automatically. The best thing so far is that having emailed a couple of times to request a static IP and an additional homepod they actually reply! Glad to be a Rebel.

Everything so far has been great!

Everything so far has been great. They took care of the transition from my previous provider and worked with OpenReach regarding the upgrade from FTTC to FTTP, which all went about as smoothly as one could hope for. If I have needed telephone support, you get through to a real-life human after just a few rings - no navigating endless menus and endless hold music. I do hope this level of service continues for the foreseeable future!
