Impossible to get hold of someone that knows what they're talking about

UK call center yes, but every call reaches 'reception' who have no visibility to your account, nor any technical or customer services capability. They promise to call back, never do. They promise to reply to emails, takes days. Router came misconfigured and locked so even when I connected to it via ethernet I was unable to manually setup the PPPoE settings. Waste of time, avoid. EDIT: I have shared my details with you, feel free to call and I'd gladly give my direct feedback as I've been trying to do for the last few days.

Connection mostly good and staff helpful

Line did go down for a few days and they did everything they could to help asap, Kevin was very helpful and we got credit back for the next month due to the inconvenience.

Patient and effective

Rebel persevered through a long, arduous process getting Openreach to install FTTP. Openreach would not allow me to initiate contact to arrange an appointment which is mind-numbingly short-sighted and unhelpful being a teacher that cannot take calls during the day. I can't imagine the mess I would be in with the undeserving, greedy broadband companies like Virgin Media, EE, Vodafone, BT, and their labyrinthian, unfair contract terms and predatory 'customer service'.

Superior Customer service

Great product with no issues . The only broadband service that offers a monthly rolling contract. Call answers quickly, unlike the big boys . Excellent Customer service . I highly recommend them

Unfortunately I did not get to…

Unfortunately I did not get to experience Rebel’s Claim on their internet speed an reliability. Two weeks before my set up and installation date I received an D/D notification and Rebel were trying to take a D/D two weeks my service even started. On checking their online portal I had been charged for their services as of the 18th January even though I didn’t sign up until 19th February and my service was not due to start until 6th March. So I emailed Rebel and asked what was going on and they said this is their common practice they don’t charge you for the equipment but they take a full monthly (in my case 7 weeks) payment in advance which is just a stealth way of making you pay for the equipment. Not only is this very deceptive and against the most basic consumer rights this a a major red flag about the honesty and stability of this company. I’ve cancelled immediately and back to a company that is honest and upfront about their charges. As I said I can’t comment on their actual internet speed or reliability but the company ethics and customer services are of a very low standard.

Highly recommend!

Was concerned about what internet to get as my son is a keen gamer and we live in a country village where there is no fibre connection. Went with Rebel and have been very pleased with internet speed and connection. Would recommend!

Really good customer service

Really good customer service. I was surprised how easy it is to talk to customer service. If you miss their call, they try a couple of times and try to sort everything out quickly and easily. Customer service team seems to be well empowered to take decisions in interest of customers.

Embarrassed I didn't switch sooner

Rebel make the transfer in supplier very straightforward. Their customer service has so far been unnervingly good. I've had relevant and helpful responses to my email communications within an hour regardless of what time in the day or night they have been sent. After a few months the reliability and speed of the new broadband service has been excellent, 10x faster than my old supplier and cheaper. I'm embarrassed I didn't switch sooner.

Started out great with them but things…

Started out great with them but things soon turned sour. Issues with setting up the booster box, it was hard to speak to customer support, it seemed to be one guy working from home rather than the expected department dealing with my issue. Then I needed to end my agreement with them early as I am leaving the UK (I didn't even realise I was in a 12 month contract thought it was pay as you go) and things became even worse. They said I should have to pay £180 to fulfill the rest of the years contract but then stated it would be halved to end my contract early. I agreed this but then they tried taking £140. I queried why and they said I had to pay £40 for my current months internet and £100 as a set up fee to be moved on to a rolling contract. This isnt what they agreed so I didn't pay. they changed my wifi name and password so I couldn't login and I just assumed that was the end of it. A week later after having no internet all week they have now taken the £140 from my bank. The company seems a shambles with no real processes in place for early cancellation or any structure to their team. EDIT: to respond to Rebels comment. They are claiming that I agreed to move to a new type of contract which is false information. I agreed to pay a cancellation fee of half of the contract amount which was £90 and I have the emails to support this. My understanding at the time was that the £90 was the final amount to pay to close my account but they are also saying there was another months usage to be added which was £40 I did not agree to move on to a rolling contract this is false and I have reported this company to Ofcom for failure to provide a proper contract with details of their cancellation procedure and also for signing me into a new agreement I did not agree to and taking the funds for it without my permission. Also their online system does not allow you to update your bank card details for payment or to make payments online. As I mentioned this seems like a one man band, you have to ring the guy direct to get him to update your card details. Stay well clear of them they are not what they appear to be !!
